Akira
Yes, another hero build from me in such a short space of time, but I've had this idea in my head for too long now and it needs to be put into action. ( 19 )3 Elemental Hero Ocean3 Destiny Hero - Plasma2 Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude2 Destiny Hero - Malicious2 Rose, Warrior of Revenge2 Summoner Monk1 Elemental Hero Stratos1 Breaker the Magical Warrior1 Plaguespreader Zombie1 Dandylion1 Sangan ( 18 )3 E - Emergency Call2 Allure of Darkness2 Destiny Draw2 Trade-In2 Lightning Vortex1 Fires of Doomsday1 Reinforcement of the Army1 Monster Reborn1 Heavy Storm1 Brain Control1 Giant Trunade1 Scapegoat ( 3 )3 Threatening Roar Extra: 14 Generic and 1 Destiny End Dragoon This is a weird one, so I'll provide a handbook. First turn play is hopefully E-Call, RotA or Monk into Stratos, searching for Plasma. Early game, Plasma usually just serves as D-Draw/Trade-In/Allure material, as it's ease of searchability makes this very consistent. Later game, Ocean can be used to pick up Stratos or Plasma to be further discarded or summoned. Meanwhile, gain advantage from Diamond Dude and protect yourself by going Monk -> Rose into Stardust. Threatening Roar keeps Ocean alive long enough to gain good use from its effect. Other thoughts: If Absolute Zero is released into the TCG, this could easily play some Miracle Fusion. I've also considered adding 2 Neos Alius and a Chaos Sorcerer. Any other questions? Go ahead and ask.
RyanAtlus
Isn't Plasma the only LV8 in this Deck?
Akira
Isn't Plasma the only LV8 in this Deck? Yes it is, but if you read my handbook you'd realise that since it can be picked up with Stratos and Stratos can be searched via E-Call, RotA and Monk, that running it as the only lv8 with Trade-In isn't an issue. Felix
Why, oh why, oh why, is there no Foolish?
Akira
Why' date=' oh why, oh why, is there no Foolish?[/quote'] Foolish is pointless - only things I'd actually want it to drop would be Dandylion and Plaguespreader, but I can lose those via Lightning Vortex anyway. Felix
Foolish Dandy and Summon a monster for instant Plasam fodder, is pointless? I don't see any Malicious either? If you add Malicious then Foolish would be a must.
Akira
Again, read the handbook. Summoning Plasma actually isn't a main priority here, it just happens if it can happen. However, Malicious might be useful. I'll look into it. Update: For the time being, I've dropped 1 Diamond Dude and Spirit Reaper for 2 Malicious. The one-off bit of tribute fodder is meh, but it was their ability to sync with Plaguespreader which turned it for me.
Felix
Sorry, I made something like this in WC 07, I keep thinking it's the same thing. (It's not)
Akira
Anymore for anymore?
El Majishan
I know you can get back Plasma...but I still dont like the Trade- In's...maybe neg them for 2 Book of Moons? Right now I'm play testing my build with just 2 Allures and 2 D-Draws and 3 Books, Its working great. Took out a Lightswron 2-0 without even side decking. Akira
Book of Moon certainly doesn't seem like a bad choice but I can't say why you would dislike Trade-In when I have so many ways of guaranteeing Plasma in my opening hand.
El Majishan
Its seems to be taking up space that you can use for other cards. Sure you can draw, but whats the point if you dont draw any thing useful. Happens to me alot, I play Trade-In and the 2 cards I get does not help much and I find myself thinking "Damn *insert card name here* would really save my ass here, why did I take it out for Trade In". Akira
Fair logic. This hasn't been tested yet but I'll take what you said into account. In my opinion though, Threatening Roar provides the same defensiveness that Book of Moon would provide (albeit it can't interrupt a Synchro Summon), and flipping monsters face down isn't great for Plasma. Plus its always funny to flip a monster face down, get your combo off, summon Plasma in Main Phase two and set Roar. They will usually summon something big to punch Plasma, you just play Roar and say thx for the big monster.
