Danilus
Warning: May contain some mild nudity. I have included a little fact underneith each card according to The Picture Book of Devils, Demons and Witchcraft, by Ernst and Johanna Lehner, each of the Sins was associated with a specific punishment in Hell. (Thats is you believe in such things, otherwise the effects of the cards are quite sweet. 8) ) FACT: The punishment in hell for the sin of pride is that your body is broken on a wheel. Activate this card only if your opponent activates a Trap Card in response to one of your monsters declaring an attack. Negate the activation and effect of the Trap Card and destroy it. Then destroy the attacking monster and one face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field. Your opponent takes Direct Damage equal to the ATK of your monster. You take Direct Damage equal to the ATK of your opponent's monster or 1500, whichever is higher. FACT: The punishment in hell for the sin of lust is you body is Smothered in Fire and Brimstone. FACT: The punishment in hell for the sin of sloth is that you are thrown in a pit of snakes. FACT: The punishment in hell for the sin of wrath is that you are Dismembered Alive. This card can only be activated during your opponent's Main Phase. When activated, this card becomes a monster (Fiend-Type/DARK/Unknown Level/ATK: ?/DEF: ?). This card's ATK is equal to the ATK of the monster with the highest ATK on the field and its DEF is equal to the DEF of the monster with the highest DEF on the field. This card returns to your Spell/Trap Zone face-down during the End Phase. If this card is destroyed in battle, treat it as an Equip Card equipped to one of your opponent's face-up monsters. You control the equipped monster. If either this card or the equipped monster would leave the field (or if this card has its effect negated), remove both cards from play and inflict 1000 points of Direct Damage to your Life Points. FACT: The punishment in hell for the sin of envy is that you are placed in freezing water. The equipped monster cannot attack unless you offer a monster on your side of the field as a Tribute. Whenever the equipped monster destroys a monster in battle, remove that monster from play and put a Curse Counter on this card. Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 500 points for each Curse Counter on this card. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, inflict 500 points of Direct Damage to your Life Points for each Curse Counter on this card or 1500 points, whichever is higher. FACT: The punishment in hell for the sin of gluttony is that you are forced to eat live rats, toads, lizards and snakes. FACT: The punishment in hell for the sin of greed is that you are put in pots of boiling oil.

Abaddon
Pretty good cards and interesting idea Danilus. I did a set of cards once that involved four deities of virtue and four deities of vice, and I included a couple of those sins. I wish I could show them to you, but unfortunately they died when the old YF forums did. Though on the new one I did a set of cards leading up to my Abaddon card that basically symbolize the path to darkness. I'll put them up if I have some spare time, though they'll on be in text form. I'll just give it a quick and simple rating if you don't mind. 8/

Abaddon
Well here they are. Along with Abaddon I got 10/10 for this set on the Create-A-Card forums at YF. Suffering ? The Child Warrior-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 500/DEF 500 This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card cannot be Set or changed to Defence Position. This card cannot be destroyed. While this card is face-up on your side of the field your opponent can only select this card as an attack target. Every time you take battle damage through this card mark down the amount. After this card has been attacked 5 times it is destroyed. You may then during any phase of you or your opponent?s turn Special Summon this card to your side of the field. This card?s ATK and DEF then becomes the amount of battle damage inflicted through this card and it can now be destroyed as a result of battle and by Trap Cards. ?The final stage of his hate is the sight of the suffering of the child? He has already been corrupted and devoured by the darkness in his nightmares? Now it follows him to his waking hours?Little does he know, his presence will cause the suffering to be unleashed and the slaughter will start?? ? Shinato, King of a Higher Plane Hate ? The Voices You can only activate this card by removing from play 1 ?Anger ? The Arm? in your graveyard. Equip this card to either a monster on your side of the field or your opponent?s. Activate 1 of the following effects depending on which you chose. Your Monster: This card?s attribute is changed to DARK. When this card attacks a LIGHT monster, increase its ATK by 1000 during the damage step. This card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle or by the card effect of a LIGHT monster. Your Opponent?s Monster: Take control of that monster. It?s ATK and DEF are reduced by 500. It must attack during every one of your battle phases. You must pay 300 Life Points during each of your Standby Phases to keep it on your side of the field. If you do not this card is destroyed and the monster is sent back to its respective owners side of the field. ?And finally it nears to the perpetual darkness?the darkness that even the darkest of dark beings tremble from?this hate is something even they wish to prevent??When it emerges from the heart of darkness, it will lay waste to both worlds, above and below? ?? ? Dark Master Zorc Despair - The Abyss Field Spell You may only activate this card by removing 1 ?Sorrow - The Spear? in your Graveyard from play. While this card is face-up on your side of the field, decrease the ATK and DEF of all Warrior-Type and Beast Warrior-Type monsters on the field by 700, and all of their card effects are negated. When a Quick-Play Spell or Counter Trap is played you may pay 500 Life Points to negate it?s effect and remove it from play. ?The endless and dark abyss?.Isn?t it beautiful? A magnificent stepping stone to the evil that lies in every man?s heart?? Dark Ruler Ha Des Anger ? The Arm Quick-Play Spell You can only activate this card by discarding 1 face-up ?Despair ? The Abyss? to activate this card. This card?s effect cannot be chained or negated. Increase the attack of a monster on your side of the field by 2000 until the end of this turn. During each of your Standby Phases you may tribute a monster on your side of the field to bring this card back for the Graveyard and activate its effect without its original cost. The young warrior?through all his strife?lies with one outstanding fault?the inability to control his rage?and by this fault?the darkness will take him? - Onyx, Master Monk Sorrow ? The Spear Normal Spell This card can only be activated by sending 1 Face-Up ?Disaster ? The Flames? on your side of the field to the Graveyard. Select 1 Monster on your opponent?s side of the field. Inflict direct damage to your opponent?s Life Points equal to the difference between 3000 ATK and the opponent?s monster?s DEF. Your opponent takes an additional 500 direct damage to his/her Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases the original target is on his/her side of the field. ?If the disaster didn?t bring sorrow?the path would be ended sooner?but evil aspires through all things?even sadness?? ? Jowgen the Spiritualist Disaster ? The Flames Continuous Trap Pay your Life Points in multiples of 1000. Select a number of Monster Zones on your opponent?s side of the field equal to the amount of Life Points you paid to use this effect divided by 1000. Place a ?Flame Zone Counter? on each of the Monster Zones you selected. When a non-Pyro-Type or non-Aqua-Type Monster is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned to a Monster Zone with a ?Flame Zone Counter? on it, its DEF is halved and it is destroyed after 3 turns. Your opponent takes 100 Direct Damage to his/her Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases for every non-Pyro-Type and non-Aqua-Type monster he/she has in a Monster Zone with a ?Flame Zone Counter? on it. When this card is destroyed, destroy all ?Flame Zone Counter?s on the field. ?The flames eternal?.the heat and destruction?.disaster starts the path for one man?s evil?? - Hino-Jigen, Legendary Flame Lord
