Well, here it is. No, this is not a card based on my name, I just wanted to put Golden Light as its name.

[spoiler=Golden Light]

During your Standby Phase, put 1 "Golden Light" counter on this card (Max. 5). This card gains 500 ATK and DEF points for each "Golden Light" counter on this card. When this card is selected as an attack target, you can remove 1 "Golden Light" counter on this card to Negate the attack. You can remove 2 "Golden Light" counters on this card to Special Summon 1 Monster Card from your hand to the field in face-up Attack Positon. You can remove 3 "Golden Light" counters on this card to destroy 1 Monster Card on your opponent's field. You can remove 4 "Golden Light" counters on this card to remove from play the top 4 cards on your opponent's Deck. You can remove 5 "Golden Light" counters on this card to destroy all cards on your opponent's field. During your End Phase, you lose 500 Life Points for each "Golden Light" counter on this card. If you cannot, destroy this card and remove it from play.

Very nice...just a couple of thoughts:

i) Is "...add 1 Golden..." supposed to be "...put 1 Golden..."

ii) You seem to switch between using "on this card" and "equipped to this card" when referring to the effects of the counters.

iii) I might change this to Thunder-Type, since Thunder monsters are usually LIGHT/non-material.

Rating: 9/10

Thank you for all the errors and ratings, and I try to look for the best pic for my cards, even though I sometimes fail... I havn't been on this Forum for a long time, and I guess I got a little off. Thanks again.

EDIT:

Is it overpowered? Can you show me what's overpowered about it? Your probably talking about the last effect of this card.

each turn card gains 500 atk and can deny attacks' date=' each 2 turns, you can special summon a monster from anywhere regardless of the lvl? can destroy monsters? destroy cards from you opponent's hand? destroy his field? its too good of a card if u ask me

[/quote']

Dont mistake the term "good card" with the term "overpowered"

Eh, I was actually gonna add an effect that destroys the card if it has 0 counters on it. But beside that fact, any way to fix that? I want to keep the original effect, but I could add on a few.

EDIT:

There, is that good? I probably added more OCG errors, so... Oh, and if you feel like changing the ATK and DEF too, I don't mind that.

LOL at everyone and anyone saying this is overpowered.

One counter at a time, this card is incredibly slow. I almost ignored the counter-gaining effects and paid attention to just the ATK/DEF increase. It opens at 2200/1900 with a level of 8, so we're looking at a potential Trade-In bait + Monster Reborn, then god forbid we hit them with Judgment of Thunder!!!! <_<

Cards that need to live through the Standby Phases to get better do not typically see use because they cannot protect themselves in the time they need to survive. This has a respectable ATK to live with until the Standby Phases, but it lacks immunity to anything, so you have to formulate ways to protect it while it slowly gains counters.

"omg so broken you can special summon a monster every 2 turns." Really? Things that take 2 whole turns to happen are suddenly deadly? Ekibyo Drakmord would love a word where people cared about effects that happened over 2 turns. I'm looking moreso at the fact that we have a 3200 ATK monster over a span of 2 turns. That is worthy of its effect. The longer your idiot opponent allows this thing to live on the field, the stronger it gets. That's how cards should be. This game should be everchanging when it comes to field presence. If you're allowed to maintain a strong field, you deserve to build on what you already have.

The three counter effect should be destroy two cards. Really, 3 whole turns to destroy 1 card, when I could just have a 3700 ATK monster laughing at what's going on? That's massively underpowered. 3 turns is a lot of time in this game. :/

The 1st and 4th effects are a waste of counters.

5th effect is perfect. Not even close to overpowered, seriously. If your opponent grants you 5 turns to keep this monster, you deserve to waste his entire field. Even if you choose not to, HAHAHA LOOK AT ME AND MY 4700 ATK RAMPAGING YOUR FIELD. This effect actually makes it worth trying to keep a monster that can't protect itself from anything (except battle <_<) on the field for 5 turns.

I really like this card, and all of the negative comments are from people who play exceptionally slow duels, apparently. Nothing stays on the field for even 3 turns in a good game that doesn't have exceptional finishers. This promotes longevity in a constantly-shifting environment. It tries to defy the odds. I don't think it's an extremely useful card, but it's nowhere near overpowered.

Good work.

9/10.

It's not that bad. It's just unique in what it tries to do. A smart player could potentially work with the card if he/she ran enough protection like Solemn Judgment and My Body as a Shield. Five turns for a full field wipeout is pretty nice, but it would probably require a deck of its own. I didn't mean to dismiss it as total garbage, it's just not something you can throw into a deck and expect to work. >_>

I have a confusing question? Wow, I have the worst memory ever. Well, in order to gain points, yes, it has to be right. I do give out something if you tried, especially if it's a hard question. So you could gain points for being wrong. But I would give you a point or two...
