My one on one Spirit contest!

Okay here are the rules:

1) I will submit ONE Spirit monster that i have made. One person may challenge me; they will also submit ONE Spirit monster they have made.

2) In following with the reason why Spirit monsters were created, the card must be an actual piece Japanese Mythology. That means a real God/Goddess/Monster/etc. from ancient or modern Japanese culture.

3)The card's effect should have something to do with its mythology.

4) After posting the card, you must explain the card's mythology, and how its effect fits in with that.

5) First to eight votes wins. Loser gives the winner 5 points and one rep.

Benten is the goddess of music, thus the wind attribute. She was married to the King of serpents, thus the Reptile bonus.

Here's my card.

 

 

Her name, Amaterasu, means literally "(that which) illuminates Heaven". She was born from the left eye of Izanagi as he purified himself in a river and went on to become the ruler of the Higher Celestial Plain.

Amaterasu has the effect of increasing the ATK of LIGHT monsters. Hence the name which means "Illuminates Heaven." As for the Summoning by Izanagi, she was born of his left eye as he purified himself in a river.

YugiohPro's Card is technically a Spirit, cause the card doesn't return to the owner's hand at end of turn.

My vote goes to ashaf_writer & Benten, because the other card doesn't have a SPirit effect, otherwise, I wouldn't have voted because I wouldn't know who to vote for.
