My mom is dying?

End Of The Abyss

Recommended Posts

Well, today while I was in school, I was notified my mom was taken to the hospital. My dad called me during my lunch period and said the doctor wanted to make sure she was okay, since she had the flu [NOT SWINE] for the past few days.

Everyday after school, I go to my grandma's. My mom or dad will pick me up from there around four. I had dinner, and my dad called saying my mom had to stay overnight, and I'd be staying with my grandma tonight.

Just now, I came in from playing Manhunt with my friends. I grabbed a pepsi and my grandma said that my dad was home to change his clothes and he was going back to the hospital. She said that was all she could tell me.

I asked her what she meant, and she told me my mom wasn't breathing, almost. She was dying. DYING. I'm on the verge of tears now, seeing as I'm pssibly about to lose my closest family member. I don't want one of those gay-like dads who try to do mom stuff. And a step mom wouldn't be awesome unless I get a brother who likes the same dumb sheet as me.

Anyway, how do I live with my dad alone? I don't how to handle it should it happen. Can someone give me advice? ):

Why don't you wait until she's actually dead instead of worrying about what might happen?

You don't know for sure what's going to happen. >>

It's called planning ahead. You might wanna try it.

Nah, if I plan ahead and things go wrong, it screws everything up.

You can't plan ahead for someone dying anyway. =.=

Like my dad tells me.

"You can have all of the dads in the world. But you can only have 1 mom."

A Stepmom will NEVER be able to replace the wonderful woman who gave you life. Who nurtured you as a baby and loves you dearly.

All I can say is to cherish what time you have left. And pray for your mom's well being.

I will keep her in my prayers.

But I think this falls under attention seeking threads. People get sick all the time. People die all the time.

I think your attempt at humor makes you look like a fool. He's obviously going through a tough time, and he needs support. I think it's selfish to call it "Attention Seeking". No one is going to just make something like that up, especially not Christian. I know himtoo well.
