OD97 Posted June 9, 2009 Report Share Posted June 9, 2009 Since "Six Samurai" decks have been hit hard by the recent bans and limitings. They cannot compete with the new decks that are out, such as "Lightsworn" or "Blackwing" or even "Gladiator Beast" decks. I suggest the following cards be added in order to give the Samurais a fighting chance:New Card:Effect:You can activate this card only when a "Samurai" monster on the field (including "Six Samurai" monsters and "Great Shogun Shien") is chosen as an attack target. Return the selected monster to your hand and Special Summon 1 "Samurai" monster (including "Six Samurai" monsters and "Great Shogun Shien"), and change the attack target to that monster. Then activate 1 of the following effects depending on the level of the Special Summoned monster:•Higher than the original monster: The Special Summoned monster is destroyed during the end phase of the turn this card is activated, and its owner takes life points damage equal to the monster's original ATK.•Equal: That monster is unaffected by the effects of Trap Cards until the 2nd standby phase from this card's activation.•Less: That monster gains 1000 ATK/DEF and is unaffected by the effects of Spell, Trap, and Effect Monster cards. The equips, well toning it down to 500 ATK/DEF might be better. But have you ever tried keeping Six Samurai monsters on the field, instead of in the graveyard, for more than 2 turns? balir1307 Posted June 10, 2009 Report Share Posted June 10, 2009 hey, good job. i do have a like constructive criticism, though. you might want to see if you can find better pictures, and possibly make the effect better on "ancient samurai aide" ( such as removing the need of three copies on the field ), but other than that, i like where this could go 8.5/10.
