LORE: This card cannot be Special Summoned from your Graveyard. When this card is succesfully Tribute Summoned, destroy all face-up FIRE monsters on your side of the field, except this card. Then you can Special Summon Level 4 or lower FIRE monsters from your Deck, up to the same number of monsters destroyed by this effect. A monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot declare an attack. As long as this card remains face-up, you cannot Set any Spell or Trap cards.

More or less a combination of Big Wave, Small Wave and Superancient Deepsea King Coelacranth but fore Fire monsters. Underpowered since you can't SS it from your Graveyard so even though it's Trade-In Fodder it's not something I want to discard. Its effect only triggers when it is Normal Summoned and you only reap the benefits if you managed to maintain a field full of Fire monsters. Fire monsters aren't known for field swarming so maintaing the field presence to reap the SS abilities of this card seems rather hard to do. Furtheremore, you can't set S/T's while its face up on the field. Extremely underwhelming and not really enticing for me to use this in a fire based deck. I need to tribute 2 monsters to get him on the field (1 if I had a special monster that counts as 2) then 3 more monsters on the field to destroy so I can SS 3 other monsters from my Deck and these monsters can't attack.

It doesn't carry any built in protection like Deepsea King so it's susceptible to every piece of monster removal. Fire support in general is lacking and there are basically 2 really good options with this card. 1) I could try to do some sort of mass burn damage for game like summoning 3 Firetroopers for 3000 burn. 2) SS tuners+non-Tuners but with normal circumstances I'd be looking at getting 1 Synchro out and 2 at the very best.

Overall, Superancient Deepsea King is way more versatile then this card and this card seems underpowered to the point where I don't want to use it in a Fire build as it is far too situational.
