the general floated down completly to teh ground and sighed deeply. he walked over to the barrier his son had made and touched it. like water, the light from his finger rippled around the wall and made it fall back to where ever it came from. the general walked over the otehr side of where the wall used to be and walked by toto, who had taken off his mask and was now looking up in the dark.

"son, you know you can't see but a few feet in front of you."

"What do you care where i look and why? why are you even talking to me as your son, i want to kill you remember?"

"yes, i do, and i also know that you wouldn't succeed unless you had thier help, you know this as well, or else you wouldn't have joined them."

"What do you care for me anyways?" asked toto, turning and facing his father with yellow eyes.

"every father cares for thier son somewhere deep i nthem, mine's just not as deep as some fathers."

toto glared at the general, his father.

"if you truely want to kill me, than you'll do this for me. help me take care of the arrancar who are just so blind by hatred that they can't see what they can be, and i'll let you kill me."

Vel saw an arrancar about to finish off A shinigami,before she could attack,Vel grabbed her arm using sonido,getting cut.

Arrancar-Oh,it's you.Why are you even trying to get us to go back anyways?You don't care about us.

Vel-You're wrong.I've had A change of heart.I would protect any arrancar,even if it means my life will end.

"come, my son, we have a battle to fight... our last battle together. if we succeed, we die. if we lose, we die."

"pretty grim, pop."

"was i ever the type to sugar coat things?"

"no... how do we get out of here?"

"the same way you came in," the general held up his lighted hand and a circular light shined up above them.

"son... if we're going to be fighting together as equals, i think it's time you dropped the carade, and released your power one hudnred percent, just like i showed you all those years ago."

"what about you? you don't have your mask on."

"oh, tha's right, silly me." hte general passed a hand over his face and allowed his mast to materiallize there. hwen it was done, his mask looked simple. there were no teeth, there was no hole for a nose. there was only one eye, but ont eh side of the mask where disgns that looked jsut like his wings.

"your turn, son."

Arrancar-Wow,I can't believe the great emotionless Vel would say something like that.That was your nickname in Soul Society.

Vel-Ha,yeah,emotionless Vel.

The arrancar walked into the Garganta.Another arrancar walked up to Vel.

Arrancar-We can't let you ruin our ambitions,Vel.You'll have to fight us.

a hole of light opened up from the iner archives of central forty six as the general flew out. he floated up the edge of the hole and landed there. he looked down in teh hole and said,

"come on, we've got work to do."

from the lighted hole that the general had emerged from camea notehr lighted hand, a black light rimmed with orange.

The arrancar used sonido and appeared behind Vel,surprising him.

Vel-He's fast!

The arrancar punched Vel in the stomach,Vel coughed up blood,the gave A laugh.

Vel-Now,I think this will be lots of fun!

Vel swiped at the arrancar but he dodged,appearing above Vel,and fired A cero,Vel gave A huge yell of pain,he fell down.The arrancar walked to his body,when he reached A hand out,Vel quickly cut it off.

Arrancar-Agh!He faked it?

Vel-Yeah,I'm good at playing dead,allow me to assist you.

Vel punched the arrancar in the chest.

toto emerged from under the pit that the general had dwelled in for so long, now jsut a black light rimmed with orange. his face was shaped like his hollow mask, only hte spikes had exchanged themselves for waving ribbons. he now had a set of wings as well, hi slooked like burning wings, with little flecks of evaporating ash falling about.

"where to now, father?"

"the clashes of spirit energy, of course."

The arrancar coughed up blood.Then smiled.

Arrancar-You're such A fool.

The arrancar rose his hands and lava came shooting out his hands.

Arrancar-You're dead.

The lava started spilling everywhere,Vel used sonido and appeared on A building.All of the other arrancar fled,except for one other.

Vel-That was A close one.

The arrancar started firing multiple cero at Vel.

Vel-...

a brillant flash of blue light shined in front of vel and the cero all hit it, causeing hte blue light to turn purple. when teh barrage was done, the light dimmed down and there, holding up his original zanpackto, was the general.

Vel-Huh?

Vel saw the general holding up his zanpaktou.

Vel-Why is he helping me?

Arrancar-Now I have A shinigami on my hands.No,I'll take care of the shinigamii later,I want to prove that I can rise to A higher rank than Vel.

The arrancar fired another cero at Vel.

[Navras]

the general threw out his hand and caught the cero, crushing it in his hands.

"i'm helping you because you're helping get rid of these arrancar, even though they are your kind. mid, if you attack right after i'm done with this lot, i'll have to kill you too."

[Nnoitra Jiruga]

A sword was then in Vel's chest.

Arrancar-Too slow.

Vel fell to his knees.

Vel-Hmph,you got me it seems like.

Vel then vanished.

[Navras]

"she's gone dad," said toto, corssign his arms.

"i know, which means we're left with these maggots to take care of." the general looked up at the remaining arrancar.

"let's play a little bit."

Arrancar-Sure,I'll have some fun with you.

The arrancar took out an axe,and held it in the air.

Arrancar-So I'll go ahead and release,and obliterate you.

[Navras]

teh general shot forward, his zanpackto in hand, and stabbed the arrancar right ab ove where his hollow hole was.

"you dont' stand a chance." the general moved his hand to the back of his sword and a light shined from it. the light travvled throught he balde and, when it came to the mid way point, jutted out and made several other blades, all stabbing through the arrancar. the gneral kicked the arancar off of his blade and fired a cero at him.

Arrancar-Ugh.

The arrancar got knocked into A building,wondering how that happened,then looked up at the cero coming at him.

Arrancar-Hmph,too slow.

The arrancar caught the cero in his hands.
