Arrival of the Armageddon

An odd sort of counterpart to Lightsworns I thought up. While Armageddons work off self-milling also, they use 'Selective Milling'- that is, actually choosing the cards sent to the graveyard. It also gives some support to a lesser-used Dragon Vanilla- Serpent Knight Dragon.

 

Please fix OCG if you can spare the time.

 

 

Armageddon Blindman

Dark; 4 star

[Warrior/Effect]

When this card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, negate the effects of your opponent's Spell Cards until their next End Phase. If this card inflicts battle damage to the opponent's Life Points, you may search your Deck for any Card and discard it to the Graveyard.

Dark; 4 star

[beast-Warrior/Effect]

When this card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, you may activate Trap Cards from your hand until your End Phase. When this card is Normal Summoned to the field, you may search your deck for any Card and discard it to the Graveyard.

When this card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, Special Summon it to the field.

Armageddon Royalty

Dark; 5 star

[Warrior/Effect]

When this card is sent from your Deck to your Graveyard, you may search your deck and send up to three cards from it to the Graveyard without the same name. Negate the effects of Cards sent to the Graveyard in this way. If you successfully Tribute Summon this monster to the field, treat the tributed Monster Card as if it were sent from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Once per turn, during you Main Phase, you may search your Deck for any card and send it to the Graveyard to destroy one face-up card on the field. Increase this card's Atk by 200 for every card with 'Armageddon' in its name in your Graveyard.

[Warrior/Effect]

Increase this card's Atk by 200 for every Card with 'Armageddon' in its name in your Graveyard. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you may remove from play two Cards with 'Armageddon' in their names in your Graveyard from play to destroy

one card on the field.

Armageddon Serpent Knight

Dark; 4 star

[Warrior/Effect]

When this card is sent from your Deck to the graveyard, you may Special Summon a "Serpent Night Dragon" from your Deck or Hand to the field. If this card is face-up on the field, you may search your Deck for any Card

and send it to the Graveyard; then, send this face-up card to the graveyard and Special Summon a "Serpent Night Dragon" From your Hand or Deck to the field.

Armageddon Night Dragon

Dark; 4 star

[Dragon/Effect]

You may Normal Summon this card from the Graveyard if it was sent from your Deck to the Graveyard. When this card is Normal Summoned to the field, you may add a 'Serpent Night Dragon' from your Hand to the field.

Whenever this card is involved in battle, you must search your Deck for any Card and send it to the Graveyard.

Serpent Meggido Dragon

Dark; 10 star

[Dragon/Effect]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or set. This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by Tributing 1 'Serpent Night Dragon' on your side of the field and sending up to three cards with 'Armageddon' in their names from your Deck to the Graveyard. If this card has already been Special Summoned to your side of the field at least once during the Duel, you may Special Summon this card from your Graveyard to the field by searching your Deck for any three cards and sending them to the Graveyard. Whenever your opponent activates a Card Effect, you may search your deck for three Monster Cards with 'Armageddon' in the name, show them to the opponent, and then discard them to the Graveyard to negate that effect. During your Main Phase, you may remove from play five monsters with 'Armageddon' in their names, with different names, from your Graveyard to destroy all face-up Cards on the field except this card.

Armageddon Choice

[spell/Normal]

Search your deck for up to three different cards with 'Armageddon' in the name, and have your opponent select one. Shuffle the selected card into your Deck, then send the other two cards to the Graveyard.

 

Chalice at the End

[spell/Normal]

You may shuffle this card into your Deck to draw another card. If this card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, you may take up to five cards from your Graveyard and shuffle them into your Deck. Then, draw a card.

 

The Serpent Night

[spell/Normal]

Add 1 "Serpent Night Dragon" from your Graveyard or Deck to your hand. Then, search your deck for any three cards and discard them to the Graveyard. During this turn, you may Normal Summon a 'Serpent Night Dragon' from your Hand without a Tribute.

 

Blade of Armageddon - Xiien Ziajujinsu

[spell/Equip]

This card can only be equipped a monster with 'Armageddon' in the name. Whenever the monster equipped with this Card inflicts damage to the opponent, you may search your Deck for a Card and discard it to the Graveyard to give the equipped monster the following effect until your opponent's next End Phase-

-This card cannot be destroyed in battle, or by opponent's Card Effects.

If this card is sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, you may search your Deck for any two cards and discard them to the Graveyard.

 

Blade of Armageddon - Senitai Ziamieru

[spell/Equip]

This card can only be equipped a monster with 'Armageddon' in the name. You may Tribute a monster equipped with this card during your Standby Phase to Special Summon a monster with 'Armageddon' in its name from your Deck.

 

Blade of Armageddon - Wretched Reaper

[spell/Equip]

This card can only be equipped a monster with 'Armageddon' in the name. When you play this card, you must search your deck for three Cards with 'Blade of Armageddon' in their names, and send them to the Graveyard.

Increase the Atk of a monster equipped with this card by 2000. Whenever a Card equipped with this Card declares an attack, you may search your Deck for any Card and send it to the Graveyard.

 

Fields of Meggido - Armageddon Pinnacle

[Trap/Continuous]

If this Card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, activate it immediately. While this card is face-up on the field, negate

the effects of all opponent's Monster Cards during your Battle Phase if you have at least 1 Monster Card with "Armageddon"

in its name face-up on the field.

 

Fields of Meggido - Armageddon Battle of the Soul

[Trap/Continuous]

If this Card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, activate it immediately. While this card is face-up on the field, while there is at least one Monster Card with "Armageddon" in its name face-up on your side of the field, negate the effects of all

Trap Cards on their side of the field.

 

Fields of Meggido - Ascension Drive

[Trap/Counter]

If this Card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, Set it on the field. While there is at least one Monster Card with "Armageddon" in its name face-up on your side of the field, when your opponent Normal or Special Summons a Monster Card level 4 or higher, remove it from play.

 

Fields of Meggido - Divine Fury

[Trap/Counter]

If this Card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, Set it on the field. While there is at least one Monster Card with "Armageddon" in its name face-up on your side of the field, when your opponent activates a Spell or Monster Card effect, you may negate the effect and remove that Card from play.

 

Fields of Meggido - Heaven's Rain

[Trap/Continuous]

If this Card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard, activate it immediately. While this card is face-up on the field, whenever a Card is sent directly from your Deck to your Graveyard, increase your LP by 200. If this Card is sent from

the field to the Graveyard, you select up to three Trap Cards with "Fields of Meggido" in their names, and shuffle them

into your Deck.

Serpent Meggido Dragon

"Whenever your opponent activates a Card Effect, you may search your deck for a monster with 'Armageddon' in the name, show it to the opponent, and then discard it to the Graveyard to negate that effect."

That part of the effect is far too powerful, change it to either sending at least 5, or only targeting spells/monsters/traps.

Having him send more might make it MORE broken, actually. Keep in mind most of the Armageddons have effects that activate when they hit the grave.

 

How about this- I increase it to three, but open it up to all cards, instead of just Armageddon monsters. If that happened, your opponent theoretically could deck you out just by activating several cards in succession.

Not really, since it's optional, so you only stop the ones that are a threat. And more cards wouldn't make it more broken. At one, around 10 Armageddon monsters in your Deck would be enough for a lockdown lasting enough to win the duel. Maybe you could also make it once per turn to blance it out , if the other options didn't work for you.

Hmm... once per turn seems viable, but it would probably slow the card down a bit. Alright, I'll change it to three Armageddon monsters per negation; Five seems a bit like overkill, though I could be persuaded to increase it if necessary. I also increased the number of cards it needs to remove from play to blow up the field from 3 to 5, as at 3, 1 negation would give it enough fuel to blow up the field next turn.
