"Clar, get out of here, now."Haro drew his hand and said" very well, i summon my Blaze Mino-reaper. I roll a die..."Haro rolled a die" and its a 6! you take 2400 points of damage. I set 2 cards face-down and end my turn, and thanks to mino-reapers effect i add 2 cards from my graveyard to my hand."

Name: Luis Solez Nagisa

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Position: Student

Dorm: Slifer Red

Deck type: Toon

Pic/description: Shortish black hair that's always very unkempt. Brown skin (hispanic), round silver glasses, and brown eyes. Stands almost Six feet tall, and is somewhat slender.

Bio: Luis fell in love with dueling when he saw his first card. He has since learned how to strategize, how to read his opponents, and has even gotten pretty decent at dueling. He refuses to use anything in the mainstream, and insists on using the weirdest decks, cards, and strategies possible.

Hi. So yeah. Jumping in now. Already got accepted...

-----------------------------------------------------

"Bloody storm's kicking up some fierce winds..." Luis walked through the rain and wind, trying to get back into Duel Academy, where the dorms were quiet and dry. His black hair clung to his scalp and forehead, soaked from the precipitation.

Looking around the wind, he spotted two people, though. One, a bored looking student, and the other a student who looked like he was about to go into a frenzy.

"I came out here looking for a duel in the first place..." His mission to find an opponent had become fruitless. It had just been his luck that a wild storm would whip up before he even found signs of duelists off the grounds. "Maybe one of those two would be up for a game." Despite the elements, he slowly trudged his way towards the two duelists, determined to get a duel in the day before going home.

Clar eyes began to notice the figure was more than a mere human ''I'm the teacher here and if one of my students are going to get defeated by someone who isn't even apart of this school then you have another thing coming.....'' he said as the rain got harder.

?: You want to join in? ha ha. Then face my minion! I flip up my Brown Blaster, and blast you for 500 damage. But now, I'll flip up DNA surgury, so all monsters count as thunders. That means, that If I get attacked, you'll incur the wrath of the Color King, and get smashed pretty hard. heh. I'll then tribute my blaster for golden gladiator! Take out that beast for 300 damage. Now, Via his effect, He just became 300 points stronger. I'll end with another facedown.

(a shadowy figure appears, and engages in a duel with the teacher)

Shadowy guy: I'll play the field card the shadow lord's casle, which lets me summon the mighty shadow lord, hades! Now I'll summon out a shadow guard, like myself. I set 2 cards facedown and end my turn.

As Luis got closer to the two, he noticed that the bored-looking one wasn't a student, but a teacher. And the nearly-frenzied student was dueling somebody... Somebody not normal.

He recognized the teacher as an Obelisk Blue instructor named Clar. It's not as if he'd ever talked to him or anything. It's just that Luis made sure he knew who all the staff were.

Luis ambled closer and recognized a monster called "Blaze Mino-Reaper". He'd seen this guy duel before. Only the opponent was unrecognizable.

"Who the heck is that...?" As he came closer, the teacher noticed him. He seemed to simply acknowledge his presence with a short glance, then returned his attention to the dueling student.

Something goin' on? This looks worthy of investigating...

As he got close enough to feel the heat emanating from the monsters, he watched as a shadowy figure appeared and engaged the teacher in a duel.

Just what's going on out here? Luis readied his duel disk, just in case something happened. He was ready.

"Y'all need some help?"

OoC: I tend to back-up a little to show my character's point of view on these things...>_>

--------------------------------------------------------

"Freaky... But I'll take my move now." Luis looked at his hand, drew his card, and quickly processed the possible approaches to this match. "Suppose I'll start off with my standard opening..."

He placed three cards onto the field. "I set two face-downs, and Normal Summon Toon Gemini Elf! My turn's at its end."

LP: 4000

Hand: 3

Field: 2 face-down spells/traps, Toon Gemini Elf (LV4, EARTH, Spellcaster, ATK1900, DEF900, [Toon])

Grave: 0

ooc: ah. interesting.

Shadow guard #2: I'll summon another skeletal trooper and flip up restless spirits to summon out 2 ghost troopers. Now I'll play double summon to tribute all 4 for my mighty shadow devastator. (ATK4500). I'll then activate the field card the shadow lord's guards' barracks. I'll use this to summon 3 copies of myself. Now, 1 card facedown and end turn.

Clar smirked and took of his Ra Coat ''Are you sure! then face my wrath, I Draw my cards and Summon a monster in face down and place two face down cards in my spell and Trap card zone and end my turn''.

LP: 4000

Hand: 3

Field: 2 face-down Spell/Trap, 1 face-down monster

OoC: Ah, okies.

---------------------

"Alright. At the End Phase of your turn, I open my face-down card -- Royal Decree! As long as this permanent trap remains on the field, every other trap card is negated."

Luis thought to himself, I should be safe from that trap. That is, if it's a trap card this... guy... set.

"Draw!" He looked at his card, then added it to his hand. "I activate a permanent spell from my hand -- at the cost of 1000 Life Points, here's Toon World!" The shadows retreated from Luis for a second as a green book appeared. It forced itself open, revealing a small world of colour and chaos within. It wasn't a bad chaos, more of a silly chaos. "So as long as my Toon World is on the field, Gemini Elf has her effect active! That effect being, namely, attacking you directly. Toon Gemini Elf, direct attack!"

Then i activate my graveyard fusion to summon my judgment reaper. then my judgment reaper destroys you monster and inflicts 900 points of damage. then my death angel attacks you directly."

As the Toon Gemini Elf completed their attack on the Shadow Guard, her effect activated.

"Now, since they did Battle Damage, a card from your hand is randomly discarded."

"Their cards are mainly dark....Think about it...." Obelisk Instructor Clar told the two students his piece of advice. Luis looked down at his hand, then gazed at his deck for a second.

"Um, yeah, I don't have any Attribute specific stuff... but now that you mention it, they do all seem to share that certain black affiliation. Any ideas on what strategies they could be planning? All I'm seeing is a giant and a couple of shrimps..." Luis looked at the huge 4500 monster in front of him, then grinned. "Of course, I'll show you what I do to huge eyesores like that. Open face-down Quick-Play Spell, Enemy Controller! By sacrificing one monster, I take control of an opposing creature -- like that Shadow Devastator!" Toon Gemini Elf disappeared into fragments of light as the Spell took its effect.

Now, if I can take that thing, the other Enemy Controller in my hand can switch one of those shrimps into Attack position, and I can go in for the kill...

"Got any response to any of that, shadow punk?"

Clar smiled and clapped his hand ''Perfect! great strategy you've used his own cards against him but becareful what about his two face down spell or trap cards?'' he was still waiting for the shadow guard to take his turn that was why he was giving advice to them.

Luis noticed that the Shadow Guard was deliberating, as well.

Huh... I guess the more there are, the longer they take to think.

"Royal Decree, my friend. As long as it's still face-up, the fool's traps are useless. Of course, I've considered the possibility of those face-downs being a Defensive spell, and the possibility of the monsters having effects that could screw up my strategy. I've learned, though, you should never show your entire plan to your opponent -- always have a backup. I hardly ever go full-force if it ain't a sure thing."

"I summon Golden Sun - Clabia in Attack Position."Wayne placed a card on the field, and a golden sun appeared out of it. It transformed into a winged angel with armour. "I then activate Gilded Reflection. By discarding one card from my hand, I can search in my hand or Deck and Special Summon a monster in Defence Position." A mirror popped out behind Clabia, and Wayne discarded a card. Clabia's reflection was shown, then it turned into a different image. A glob of light seeped out of the mirror. It didn't stop on Wayne's side, it traveled, still floating, to the other side. "And I Special Summon, on your field, Golden Sun - Desolate Soul!" The glob of light formed into a sun, but the sun stayed a sun. "Now you cannot summon any more monsters for 3 turns!" The sun let out a glowing aura, stunning any cards that are summoned, and returning them to the hand.

[spoiler=Cards Used]

This card is a DARK and LIGHT monster. This card cannot be Normal Summoned. When this card is Summoned, control of this card is switched to your opponent. The owner of this card cannot Summon Monster Cards for 3 turns. Once this card has been on the field for 3 turns, remove this card from play.

184207y.jpg

Once during your Standby Phase, select 1 card on your opponent's field. Add 1 "Golden Sun" counter to the selected card. As long as this card is on the field, all cards that has a "Golden Sun" counter on it cannot attack or be activated. This card can only attack a Monster Card with a "Golden Sun" counter on it. If there is no monster on your opponent's field with a "Golden Sun" counter on it, this card can attack your opponent directly.

-Tal draws his card and looks up at Hunter. He adds the card to his hand and sighs. So he was well worth it. Luckily, he was not in a tournement or this would end in a drastic favor on his end.-

"Just go."

-But Tal had a good card; just as Hunter drew his card Tal smiled pressing a button on the side of his duel disk.-

"Sorry to disappoint you Hunter but you activated my trap card; Drop Off. Now you must discard the card you just drew from your deck."
