In a world....

Where it's not safe to venture outside the meta.

One chooses to venture....

to strive....

to love!

"Flippy! Where are you going?"

"I have to find Flipette! She's out amongst the glad beasts!"

"You'll never be able to outrun them."

"Maybe not, but I can certainly outflip them."

"Go, Flippy, but promise me you'll come back alive."

"I never promise anything..."

This summer.....everyone's favorite troll is back, along with Nick Cage as Night Assailant in Flip Trolls 5: Faster than the Speed of Love.

"Flippy, I think we're going to fast! We're going faster than the speed of sound!"

"No, Nick, we're going faster than the speed of love!"

*cue Titanic music*

"I'm hurt bad, Nick, I don't think I'm gonna make it to Flipette....Nick....what are you doing? Don't discard yourself to save me! NOOOOOOOOO!"

Forget all you knew about the Flip Trolls.

This Summer.

Nick Cage.

Flippy.

in....Flip Trolls 5: Faster than the Speed of Love. Rated PG-13

i shortened the ratio of monsters to mt's, so i felt that 3 morph 2's would kill me faster than my opponent. furthermore, most meta decks these days include few higher up monsters. while morph 2 /is/ cancer for monarchs, its only mediocre against gbs, and pointless and sometimes suicidal against ls (ryko)

that isnt to say its bad, mind you, but 3 is unnecessary.

as to lrovani, i have to disagree whole-heartedly.

upstart goblin allows me to run a 37 card deck.

if you were to check out my past flip troll decks, ive done everything you have at one point or another. everything good at least. swords and messenger are mediocre at best in this meta.

sos gravity bind and all that. ddcrow is pointless, and i dont like the numbers in your cards.

if you want a more stall-inclined flip deck, look at flip 4 in my sig for that sort of thing.

however, this deck is built to be as fast as possible. its all draw cards and speedycake mill.

i cant waste time with stuff like swords and messenger, or even roar. they arent important.

i havent won in 4 turns tops, im playing it badly or i didnt make it good enough.

this deck doesnt stall at all. i tried stall in flip 4, it ran well, but not good enough.

this is meant to beat the meta in speed.

:P

but thanks for your criticism.

i can see no logical reason not to run a 37 card deck.

i would run a 20 card deck if i could.

it would contain exodia.

upstart is staple in any deck that kills without touching lifepoints, i.e. mill, exodia, destiny, countdown

just because you need those cards.

how can i explain that less is better?

ideally, you want a 40 card deck because you raise the probabilities of getting the cards you need at any given time.

its nice to have a tool box, which is what i noticed in your deck, but the problem with that is that you /will/ draw bottomless when you need swords. and vice versa.

lower cards means higher chances of getting what you absolutely need.

upstart just boosts my chances.

also

its one card i dont care about if morph 2 kills it :P

it can even +1 your hand if you sync it with morph 1.

its a beast.

i never run a deck with more than 42.

but consider for a moment, the potential difference between a 40 and 37 card deck.

imagine your opponent has a disgusting army, but no mt destruction.

your deck has a messenger in it.

lets say youre midway through the game.

so would you rather have a deck that at this moment has 15 cards left in it, or one with 12?

which raises your chances of getting that messenger?

its all about numbers.
