Yankee
Hello all,I am having a hard time with this, so, I decided to ask for help.. I'm trying to learn how to calculate IV and EV's on pokemon. I went to Serebii and all, and basicly learned how to do it, but, the base state thing they have for each pokemon is kinda, well, not right. I don't know what level they are talking about with their base states, likeI looked at my Beldum, Lv 5, Bold, with 9 Special ATK. Serebii says it's base state for Spec. ATK is 35, so, ya... Anyway, if anybody can somehow help me with IV and EV calculating, I'll pay a rep Cheers,Yankeefan ^_^

Yankee
Well, my main thing is I want to use EV and IV points, but to calculate IV, you have to have the pokemons base stats, but i don't know what level that base stat is, so, instead of gettin between 0 and 31, I'm getting stuff like -9 >_
JG.
I don't reallt understand the base stuff either, so just ignore it, and just train like you usually would, but of course using some EV guides. Use YouTube, they are always good.

TrickyPooBoy
EV and IV are for training your Pokemon. Depending on the Pokemon it battles, it'll become more like that Pokemon. So, say you have a Linoone and are training it against a Zubat. The zubat has high speed, so Linoone's base speed will go up. You're welcome ^^
