<Pokemon Invasion Project> Main - A bunch of Sinnoh Pokemon added

Recommended Posts

This project is a multi-group project for turning all of the pokemon cards into playable Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Our hope is to make cards that people will enjoy just as much as the Pokevolution Project. All types will be fake, however, as we will be using the types of Pokemon from the games themselves. While as Legendaries will be "Legendary" type, Trainers will be "Trainer" type, and Gym Leaders will be "Gym Leader" type. Also, all non legendaries, trainers, and gym leaders will have the "Pokemon" sub-type.

Additional Rules

*****

This is a list of rules that are "added to the rulebook" for this set of cards. This is to cut down each pokemon's effect by about 3/4, as well as make some cards vanillas via the removal of their only effect.

[spoiler=Rules for Pokemon]1. Each pokemon has a weakness. As such, when a pokemon gets attacked by a pokemon it is weak against, you must double the attack that pokemon. (list of weaknesses coming soon)

2. Each pokemon has a resistance. As such, when a pokemon gets attacked by a pokemon it is weak against, you must half the attack that pokemon. (list of resistances coming soon)

3. Normal types cannot attack Ghost types, nor can the reverse occur.

(Coming Soon)

[spoiler=Rules for Legendaries]All Legendaries are limited to 1 per deck of each kind (i.e. One Mewtwo, one Mew, one Jirachi, one Uxie, etc).

(More Coming Soon)

[spoiler=Rules for Trainers]1. You must include 1 Trainer card in your deck if you have a Pokemon card in your deck.

2. You may only have 1 Trainer card in your deck.

3. Trainer cards are Special Summoned from the deck at the start of the duel, before you even shuffle your decks, and placed on the field card zone.

4. Trainer cards act as field cards as long as they exist on the field card zone and cannot be destroyed. They also negate the activation of all other field cards while acting as field cards.

5. If you tribute 2 monsters from your side of the field, you can change the Trainer card from a field card to a monster card, thus placing the card on the Monster Zone (or whatever it's called).

6. If your Trainer card is destroyed, you lose the duel.

[spoiler=Rules for Spells and Traps]*Cards Limited to 1 per deck*

Oracion - Song of Calming

Ultimate Confrontation

(More Coming Soon)

EDIT: You should really put everything into 1 thread, otherwise your going to start

getting on peoples nerves with multiple threads, it's also classed as spamming.

Ok, now onto a review of the card Yellow..

OCG is off =/

you may <-- you can (I've seen you putting this alot, kinda like my friend does)

regardless of Summoning Requirements <-- ignoring Summoning conditions,

at the sacrifice <--- at the cost of

graveyard, <-- Graveyard,

During your Standby Phase, you can Special Summon 1 Pokemon-type monster from your Graveyard, ignoring Summoning conditions. At the cost of 100 Life Points x Level of the monster being Special Summoned by this card effect.

Hmm...well, I've always seen all of the projects like this work this way...they keep things separate and such for easier browsing...plus, a topic full of about 530 cards would load really slowly. I can put them all into one topic, but I've just never seen large projects (and supposedly multi-person projects, though no one but me has joined this one) put their stuff into one topic. I'm also going to quit making new topics and only work on types I've already got topics for for a bit, that way I'm not making a million topics right off the bat. But, I really don't know how else I should do it other then this way. I mean...will 530 cards all fit into one page/topic without causing things to slow way down? And can they all be put in one post? Cause if not, I'd need to know the number of images allowed per post so I could reserve them at the beginning (thus requiring another new topic, but the result would be a single topic for the entire project)

You could do a 50-100 Cards per topic, that way the outcome of mass multi-topic-ing wouldn't be so bad.

An I have a 50 Card topic, the loading doesn't typically really take long.

Well, that is a good idea...except then I'd still want a base topic like this. And then, since I'd probably want to keep the cards in order, it would end up being "PIP: Cards 1-50" in which case, I'd still have just as many topics... (there's that much space between the cards I've currently posted). So...it wouldn't solve the current problem as it already is :/ Sorry, I'm just thinking of this in the way of "Easy browsing" and from the mind of an OCD person (cause I am one ^^")

Hmm, then you could always go with:

Spells & Traps as a single thread to stop clogging.

Pokemon set out into their regions -> 1-151 152- ect.. Single Threads of course

Trainers could be displayed on this main thread

That way its allows you to still have branches from this thread

People would use this page to navigate

let's say um..

Pokémon Invasion Project - Main

Pokémon Spells & Traps

Pokémon 1-151

Pokémon 152-

If not the numbers you can go with

Pokémon - Kanto

Pokémon - Johto

ect..

Hmm...well, an idea like that does work (to one degree) but it still doesn't help with current topics...there's still that much of a gap ^^" My grass-types would become 1-151, my psychics becomes 152-151, my legendaries would become 252-386, my trainers would stay as they are, and my Spell and Traps would stay as they are, then there's this topic. While it means the creation of only...1 more topic? It still leaves me with as many topics as I have now...plus, if you can't post at least 151 cards per post, then I still can't work that :/ But...it would slow the clogging down a bit...but if I'm getting told 6 topics is spam...then 7 at a max would still be spam, wouldn't it?

EDIT: fixed the post up to include Psychics, cause I forgot it existed.

To end this bad thoughts you can have over 150+ cards in 1 post.

The issue would be is seeing them all, to simply fix this

you make the Spoiler boxes to hide them away so your not clogging up a whole page with tons of cards. <-- I would happily assist you with making Spoiler boxes =/

An backtracking to my idea of Pokémon - Kanto and such

Here's my example of how it would look

Pokemon - Kanto

^ If you do get more people to help you, they simply cover this thread.

They provide a banner for it.

They provide the cards for it.

They provide for it like it's their own thread.

The banner from this thread would be displayed

here to simply link it together.

Ok...I think I get what you are getting at. I originally had thought you were telling me I was spamming for having 6 topics made up. Are you telling me I am spamming for having 21 branches? If that's the problem, then I completely understand what you're saying now. If not, then I have no clue how knocking myself down to 7 topics (this and 6 branches) help fix up the spam that's already created. If I am right, though, and you are referring to the fact I will have 22 topics by the end of this, then the nightmare of figuring out what you guys are saying is finally over and I can understand and fix the problem =D I have no problem turning them into regions. I just can't figure out how doing that reduces the spam I've already created.

Basicly, the idea is:

Main

Pokemon - Kanto

Pokemon - Johto

Pokemon - Sinnoh

Pokemon - Hoenn

Pokemon - Spells & Traps

^

If you get assistance, you simply put someone or a group of people in charge of that topic. This idea simply stops the threat of having alot of different topics that branch from this, resulting in mass spam. D:

An on the Main topic you can have something like

Enter the Pokemon Regions!

*Display Different Banners for each region here*

Come check out the magic of Pokemon!

*Display Spell & Trap banner here*

EDIT: I see you've started with the idea before I posted this =O

What about Micheal? and the Shadow Lugia?

No clue who either of those are' date=' but if I knew, Shadow Lugia would probably be in the Johto region with Michael (or is it actually Micheal? Cause it's usually spelled Michael) in the Trainers section.

I wish to join this project. I'll help by sending in some of my old cards which I'll edit to make them suitable for here.

You're free to join, but you have to PM me an ap for me to accept it (yeah, I know, it's annoying, but it's way easier for me to keep track of stuff that way). So, feel free to send me an ap in PM and you'll be all set =D (I recommend including at least 1 card in it, though, so I can see your skills)

-nods- well, not so much "wait to join" more of a "wait to get accepted". You're trying to join, and you'll get in if you get accepted, but if you don't, then you'll have to fix whatever we ask you to fix before you can get in.

EDIT: @balir1307: Totally sweet ^^ You're free to join up. That card is also perfect for the group with one minor problem, it shouldn't be a "Pokemon/Legendary". All of the Legendary Pokemon in the set are just "Legendary". So, if you want to use that card for the set, just fix that one thing and I'll put it up =D Also...I have put this here because your PMs are shut off, please correct this as I can't accept anyone in that I can't contact.

lol, thanks. This is also a multi-person project, which means I have help. I'm also using a different system then before, which I find makes making cards way easier. Like I said before in the last topic, if people wanted the images better, they could help out. Since people are helping out this time, the images are way better =D Otherwise, they'd still be game sprites :P
