Hmm...It could work, but wouldn't that make his current "loneliness" bonus either a.)Overpowered or b.)Obsolete? I mean, if you send four cards to your hand and, say, buff his ATK up by 250-500, with his 1000 ATK bonus, he would have 3900-4900 ATK on your next turn.

 

Though I could rework it... How does "If this card is face-up and the only monster you control during your Standby Phase, place one "Independence Token" on this card (max. 1), otherwise remove all "Independence Tokens" from it. Increase this card's ATK and DEF by 1000 for each "Independence Token" on it. During your End Phase, you may discard 2 cards to return all other monsters you control to their owner's hand. For each card returned to it's owner's hand by this effect, this card's ATK is increased by 250 until your next End Phase." sound to you?

You imply that would be a bad thing. 3900-4900 Attack, while being the only monster on your side of the field AND you need to both discard two cards and give up a field full of monsters, is actually a bit UP. It's a -6 card advantage; Considering he's also a level...7, was it? That's an additional -2 for the tribute. A -8 card advantage in exchange for 1/2-3/4s of a OTK really isn't OP.

 

I have no idea where people get the idea Hell's a bad word.

Hmm... Never thought about it that way... I have an idea, but it's gonna make his description a hell of alot longer.

 

I may add a Counter for each card returned to it's owner's hand, and as long as he has one, he cannot be affected by Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster effects, but each standby phase he loses 1, and if another monster is summoned they all get removed.

 

How's that? Of course it's not in correct OCG, but I'll work on that.
