Can’t I wait to start responding to E-mails?

 

 

 

Hello again, everyone! This is Daniel, and welcome back to my introduction to normal monsters series. Today’s article will be part #2 of my three-part introduction to normal monsters series of articles. However, before I get into today’s article, I have a few things to tell all of you.

 

 

 

First, I want to let all of you know that as of the time I am writing this article, I have not received any e-mails from any of you. That means I will not be responding to any e-mails at the end of this article. Plus, I am getting a little bit worried that I am not receiving any e-mails due to my new e-mail system that I mentioned in my last article, which was named Normal Monsters: Introduction (Part 1). Now, I know these rules for my new e-mail system may be a little bit crazy, but I think they are easier to understand once you read them. And, it helps me respond to any e-mails that I may get by the time I finished my next article. So everyone, please take into account my rules for sending e-mails to me under the article titled Normal Monsters: Introduction (Part 1) and start sending me some e-mails. I would love to hear from all of you about what you think about my series so far.

 

 

 

Finally, I just want to remind all of you that while I am writing this article, we are in early December. I was so busy with school during the last few weeks that I couldn’t start writing this article until the first weekend of December. Plus, I saw that when my last article was posted on pojo.com, it wasn’t posted until November 23. And I wanted to wait until after it was posted to start writing this article. After all, it isn’t my fault that my last article wasn’t posted until the end of November. So please everyone, don’t start sending e-mails to me saying that it’s my fault my article was posted on November 23. Okay?

 

 

 

Anyway, that is everything I wanted to talk about with all of you for now. So let’s get back to the article. Like I said earlier, today’s article is part #2 of my three-part series of articles introducing you to the world of normal monsters. Today, I am going to talk about normal monsters who are level 5 or higher that will work great in a normal monster deck. The cards that I will be talking about today are Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Summoned Skill, and Cosmo Queen. Like last time, I will be giving all of you detailed information about each card and why it deserves to be in a normal monster deck. So let’s start talking about these monsters now.

 

 

 

I have killed the dragon.

 

 

 

The first card that I am going to talk about with all of you is Blue-Eyes White Dragon. This monster is an LIGHT dragon-type monster with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF. Plus, it’s a level 8 monster, which means you will have to tribute 2 of you own monsters to normal summon this monster card to the field. Now, I know that this may be a high cost to pay just to summon it, but let me give you the reason why I selected this card to talk about.

 

 

 

Now everyone, the main reason why I selected this card to talk about in this article first was because Blue-Eyes White Dragon is the strongest level 8 monster in the Yu-gi-oh TCG. In other words, its 3000 ATK makes it the normal monster with the highest amount of attack points in the game. Its 2500 DEF is pretty balanced too. After all, there are only a few other normal monsters with more then 2500 DEF, but all of them have less ATK then this card. However, some of them are level 5 or 6 monsters, which only require you to tribute 1 monster in order to summon any of them.

 

 

 

Anyway, with the reasons that I just mentioned, I think that Blue-Eyes White Dragon is a great card to be in a normal monster deck. Now let’s move on to the next card on my list of cards that I want to talk about with all of you today, Summoned Skill.

 

 

 

Is that skill alive?

 

 

 

Like I said earlier, the next card that I’m going to talk about with all of you is Summoned Skill. This monster is a DARK fiend-type monster with 2500 ATK and 1200 DEF. It is also a level 6 monster, which means you will have to tribute 1 monster in order to normal summon or set it. Now let’s start talking about why I selected this card to talk about in this article.

 

 

 

Again, the main reason why I selected this card to talk about was because it would work great with all of the support cards DARK monsters have these days. One example of a support card for DARK monsters would be Allure of Darkness. Like I said with Archfiend Soldier in my last article, you can remove Summoned Skill from play for the cost of Allure of Darkness. With this combo, you will draw 2 cards and have Summoned Skill removed from play. However, you will be able to bring Summoned Skill back to the field with cards that bring monsters from the remove from play pile to the field like Return from the Different Dimension (RFTDD).

 

 

 

RFTDD has a good effect. It lets you bring back all of your removed from play monsters at the cost of half of your life points. So if you want to build a deck around normal monsters and the removed from play pile, you should try RFTDD.

 

 

 

Okay everyone, since I’m done talking about Summoned Skill, let’s move on to the final card that I will be talking about with all of you today.

The final card that I will be talking about with all of you today is Cosmo Queen. This monster is a DARK spellcaster-type monster with 2900 ATK and 2450 DEF. It’s a level 8 monster, which means that you will have to tribute 2 monsters in order to normal summon or set this card. Again, I will be explaining the reason why I selected this card to talk about in the next paragraph. So let’s get to that now.

 

 

 

Now, the reason why I selected this card was because of all the great DARK support cards for DARK monsters these days. However, I think I talked about those cards already when I was talking about Summoned Skill. So that means I am done talking about Cosmo Queen and the normal monsters that I wanted to talk about for this article. Plus, I think that the things I wanted to talk about with all of you were mentioned at the beginning of this article. So that’s mean I’m done with this article.

Okay everyone, since I’m done talking about the normal monsters for this article, and since I have no e-mails for me to respond to, this article is over. However, the fun is not over let. My next article will be the final part of my three-part introduction to normal monsters series. After the series is done, I will be writing articles about all sorts of things that have to do with the Yu-gi-oh TCG. But, I am not going to mention them to all of you because I am not at that point yet. I tell all of you what my first article will be about after the series is done in my next article. So keep your eyes open for that.
