A freakishly different card.

And since most of us cant read it:

 

Pay half of your Life Points. Switch 1 card in your hand with 1 random card from your Side Deck. This effect counts as returning 1 card from your hand to your Deck and adding a card from your Deck to your hand. If you added a monster, you cannot Summon it this turn. If it is a Spell or Trap card, you cannot activate it this turn. You must skip this turn's Battle Phase. At the end of the Duel, you must return both cards to the appropriate Deck. You cannot activate "Swap From Beyond" next Duel. If your opponent activates "Swap from Beyond" next Duel, you take 3000 Damage and Draw 2 cards. The next time you activate "Swap from Beyond", you may pay 1000 additional Life Points to add 1 card from your Deck to your Side Deck and 1 card from your Side Deck to your hand. This counts as adding a card from your hand to your Deck and adding 1 card from your Deck to your hand.

 

 

If you think about it, it lingers through the entire match when its played.

 

It cannot be played during the next duel. But it can be played during the duel after that.

 

If your opponent activates it next duel, you take a hittin', but you draw 2 cards. (Still Lingering)

 

If there's a 3rd Duel and you activate this, you can get another card from your Side Deck.

 

However, it is my conclusion that NO ONE WOULD RUN THIS, as it isn't worth it.

 

They would probably be happy with:

Pay half your Life Points. Add 1 card from your hand to your Side Deck and 1 card from your Side Deck to your hand. This counts as returning 1 card from your hand to your Deck and adding 1 card from your Deck to your hand. At the end of the duel, return the same cards to their proper Decks. (Standard Side-Deck rules apply.)

 

And that'd be that. Even with that effect, no one would run it as they would just side deck without the life points cost at the end of the duel. So really, I shouldn't have made this card.

Most people would. I know I would. Lol. The problem with this card is that soooooo many people would just rather Side at the end of each duel, rather than paying half of their Life Points to do so. That's why it's a common.

I really couldn't think of a different name. I was trying so hard and somehow Swap from Beyond came to mind.

Like one time a bunch of noobs said my cards were good (I was still a noob)and i got stubborn. When a good card maker came (Marage) he said I had bad cards but i said i did. It happens alot. Ive seen many people do the same. But you are pretty good at card making for just coming on the site.

I won't comment on the effect itself, cuz u already mentioned that < useless and unplayable.

 

 

But the thing I liked here is HOW you thought of an effect like this, pretty nice.
