In honor of my 400th post on YCM I'm making a card contest!

 

There are 3 rounds in this contest. 24 hours for each round. After each round only half the members will make the next round.

 

Entry fee: 20 points, donations are welcome!

1. Pitski: 100/100 (Flawless, I'd give you more if I could.)

2. Seto Kaiba666: 98/100 (Not much to say. Just great.)

3. :: -Omega Devil- :: : 97/100 (Very accurate and very good.)

4. Computerwhiz98: 96/100 (Nicely balanced.)

4. Slash: 96/100 (Perfect besides OCG.)

6. Takeshi: 95/100 (Great effect, plain and simple)

7. 1337 noob: 94/100 (Mild OCG errors, but good)

 

 

8. kid: 93/100 (Overall very good. Didn't lose many points in any specific category.)

9. e-hero-guy: 80/100 (Lost a lot of points for OCG)

9. MaTTMarianoow: 80/100 (Lost 18 points for OCG)

11. Al9090: 78/100 (Needs lots of work on OCG)

12. DemonX: 62/100 (OCG and effect were bad.)

12. ~WULF~: 62/100 (OCG was sloppy and effect was uninteresting.)

 

Thanks everyone for participating! The problem with the people that were eliminated is OCG. All of their OCG was bad and that's the easiest to do in my opinion. You just look at a card with a similar effect and that's it. Also, don't feel bad if you lost. There are some legendary cardmakers in this.

 

Well, Takeshi's last minute post booked him a trip to the second round and barely knocked kid out of it. It's too bad kid didn't make it. His score was bunched up there with everyone else, but in the end he's stuck with guys that got 13 or less points than him.

1.:: -Omega Devil- :: 187/200 (did not refer specifically to Jerry Beans Man but were very good.)

1. Seto Kaiba666 187/200 (Spell Card was simple, monster was great)

3. computerwhiz98 183/200 (monster was simple, both had slight OCG errors)

 

 

4. Slash 167/200 (OCG and Jerry support were weak)

5. Takeshi 162/200 (Jerry Beans Man supported them, it didn't get support. Effects were too simple. First round was okay, but you have to be more intense later on)

 

1337noob has pulled out of the contest due to conflicting times. He wished you all luck.

 

Pitski never gave any notice and was informed multiple times that the round deadline was arriving. He never posted his card.

 

We wish our finalists luck but I think it's very tragic that the only person to receive 100/100 in the 1st round didn't post in the 2nd round, but sh** happens. Now it's up to the final 3 to show if they deserve to be number 1!

1. Seto Kaiba666: 387/400 (Very good, congrats)

2. :: -Omega Devil- :: ; 386/400 (Loved the effects, but OCG was medium with "add 1 Counter" and such.

3. Computerwhiz98: 354/400 (OCG was mediocre, and effects were too simple. As I said to Takeshi you must post more complicated effects that are more interesting. You got lucky because Pitski didn't post last round, but you were the weak link in this round for sure.)

 

To the first 2 players great job. The effects were very strong (and similar with the counters) but it all came down to slight OCG for Omega. A 1 point difference is very small. To computer: as I just said, more OCG and I need more effect strength. That has been the problem with you and Takeshi. First round your cards were good but making the next round wasn't hard. 2nd round he got knocked out, and your spell card saved you (also Pitski and 1337noob dropped out.). In the end it wasn't enough.

 

Good job to everyone though. You will receive your points asap and your reps might take a couple days, cause I'm away.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard. As long as this card remains face-up on the field your monsters cannot attack directly. During each player's Standby Phases place 1 Resurrection Counter on this card. Once per turn you can select 1 monster in your Graveyard. Remove Resurrection Counters from this card equal to the Level of the selected monster and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position.

When this card is Summoned, change it to Defence Position. Each time a Trap Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on it. It gains 300 DEF for each Spell Counter on it. You can remove 1 Spell Counters from this card to draw 1 card. Each time you activate this effect, remove from play 1 card in either player's Graveyard. When you cannot remove any cards from play, destroy this card.
