Dark
THE POWER OF LIBERALZ HAS CONSUMED YOU YOUNG PADAWANZ!!!!! Anyway' date=' CN always sucked, Bush sadly got out of office, the white house and congress became democratic, so 2008 AND 2009 sucked.[/quote'] I'm not even going to make a comment, because my comment will be infested with fail from yoru comment. CN, bar Adult Swim, has always been the worst channel. Unless they ever had Tom and Jerry. Tom and Jerry is win. Obama became president: Worse news of my entire life. CN is crap yes' date=' but adult swim is still decent.[/quote'] Lulz. Obama owns you. When McCain died of a heart attack and Palin became president, I would lulz at Republicans. Aduly Swim has always been decent. Hopefully Futurama hasn't been cancelled, too. =( Obama became president: Worse news of my entire life. CN is crap yes' date=' but adult swim is still decent.[/quote']Why? , He deserved to win, if you don't belive me why did more people vote for him then Mckain (or however you spell his name). If all the other republicans had stopped being lazy, gotten off their couches, and voted, McCain would have won. 30% of republicans didn't bother to vote that year. If everyone's opinions had been counted, McCain would have won. If that sounds like a stupid argument and/or irrelevant fact, may I remind you which party whined and moaned about bush winning the election without the majority vote. I find it funny how people considered liberal whine and demonize a bunch of things about bush and make all kinds of complaints, and then when conservatives do THE SAME EXACT THING, they accuse them of acting like idiots and being jerks. Just remember, like that one t-shirt says, "I will give your president the same respect you gave mine." First of all, Bush was a horrible president. He did nothing, nada, zippo, to help the economy. He put us in some deep stuff (not using sheet because of SOMEBODY) and worsened what Clinton started. Obama might be talking bullcrap about his plans, but atleast he is not a friggin clone of Bush. Also, the Repub's are are lazy people in general. And you can't prove McCain would have won with extra support. You might want to look at Mr. Electoral College and see the LANDSLIDE. Apparently' date=' the economy downturn has been caused by Americans. But yes, it has been.....a crappy year.[/quote'] Americans (excluding Massachusetts) always hurt the economy. Sad. ='( On the bright side, Japan is epic. =D

There's a ton of them every year, and rarely does any of them do anything that causes major damage. Where I live, we have an entire hurricane season, and I've lived right in the roughest part of a category 5, which didn't do anything to us or the houses around it. They're not as devastating as everyone makes them out to be, and they're not a big deal. The only time anyone hears about them outside of my general section of the world is when one of the rare ones that causes a bunch of damage happens, such as katrina or andrew. Then everyone in other parts of the US watches the news and thinks they're the friggin hurricane guru, when they know less than the bum outside a Florida liquor store >_> I remember having a science class where I used to live in Montana, and when they did natural disasters, they made hurricanes sound the like the apocalypse. As for the comment about republicans being lazy, you're just resorting to flaming the opposite side aren't you? Pathetic

Also' date=' the only thing that sucks about it now is Survive this.[/quote']Yeah, you fail, because it's "The Othersiders". The Outsiders is a novel by S.E Hinton that is better written than any scripted show CN is currently airing. Also, did someone say flaming? =D
Dark
Yep, definatley, cuz I am obviously flaming. I love flaming, and spamming, and I do it 24/7/366. I made an extra day, December 32nd, just for spamming. Yep. [/sar] Anyways, hurricanes are a big deal if you live on the east coast. A lot of little ones don't do much, but there are usually 1 or 2 abnormally large ones a year.

Dark
I do agree that a lot of hurricanes are just bs hype. But when a big one comes along, you would rather be prepared for it than be wiped out. Some idiots in Lousiana didn't heed warning that Katrina was coming. They are dead or homeless. The homeless people shouldn't even be getting help because they can't follow a simple sign that says "GET OUT".
~Shore
Speaking of disaster hype, Hawaii had a big earthquake in 06, so they started doing earthquake drills. Of course, they had to do it after we had already had the earthquake, and another one's not due till at least 2016, but now, whenever we have like a 1 second some people feel it some don't earthquake the whole school gets rushed outside for a roll call. Better safe than sorry. And I was referring to the ones who think every small hurricane is a big deal. The large ones rarely are either if you prepare for it/your house isn't weak or a trailer. Dark
I actually laugh at people who think small hurricanes are dangerous. I actually went to the beach when there was a hurricane. Maybe 6 foot waves, but I saw like 20 surfer people there. Lulz. But people need to heed warning if someone says its a LARGE hurricane.
~Shore
Basically, a big earthquake hits the island every decade or so. Of course, after the earthquake hits is when we start preparing. Is that simple enough for your small brain?

It didn't phase me at all. "but now, whenever we have like a 1 second some people feel it some don't earthquake the whole school gets rushed outside for a roll call." Felix Culpa
Wait, you said Bush was out of office in 08. That's not the case. He was in office until the day of Obama's inauguration. The only reason the economy is garbage is because we are at war. THe only reason we are at war is because Bush the father was plotted against by Iraqis. Seems like a big loop around "Bush's fault"
