Contract with the Abyss?

Why would I run it over Black Illusion Ritual? I only run Relinquished, and Contract forces you to use exactly the right Level. I plan on being able to use every monster I can to Ritual Summon Relinquished.

Actually, I'm trying to find room to put in some Limit Reverse to continue the Relinquished spam.

Sorry to be a pain' date=' but the wiki wont load this end. Can you Xander clause those ritual cards?

[/quote']

Ritual Devil Gresider 「儀式魔人グレサイダー」

DARK/Demon - Effect/4/1800/1400

If you Ritual Summon a Ritual Monster, you can remove from play this card in your Graveyard as 1 of the monster's level required for that Ritual Summon. If the Ritual Monster his card was used in the Ritual Summon for destroys a monster by battle, the controller of that Ritual Monster draws 1 card.

Ritual Devil Releaser 「儀式魔人リリーサー」

DARK/Demon - Effect/3/1200/2000

If you Ritual Summon a Ritual Monster, you can remove from play this card in your Graveyard as 1 of the monster's Level required for that Ritual Summon. While the Ritual Monster this card was used in the Ritual Summon for is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters.

Preparations for the Ritual 「儀式の準備」

Normal Magic Card

Add 1 Level 7 or lower Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. Then, you can add 1 Ritual Magic Card from your Graveyard to your hand.

Hang on... If you ran Phantom of Chaos in this deck' date=' wouldn't it keep the attack increase from Relinquished? And the next turn it can equip another monster? I dunno.

[/quote']

Meh, I'm not seeing a large amount of benefit from running PoC right now.

Relinquish must be properly ritual summoned before it is able to be special summoned from the grave' date=' correct?

[/quote']

Indeed.

I love those cards' date=' hope to see them in the TCG eventually. Manju is a Light, right? You might get away with running Chaos Sorcerer here.

[/quote']

I would want at least 2 more LIGHTs before I could justify running Chaos Sorcerer. Maybe 2 of Norsewemko, Beautiful Goddess of Salvation along with 2 of its Ritual Spell? Meh, that might be too many Rituals...

I'd recommend Reshef the Dark Being over Norsewemko were it not for the fact that being Level 8 makes him incompatible with Preparations.

Not too sure about Pot of Avarice' date=' though.

[/quote']

It refreshes used Relinquished for Preparations. That's about the extent of its usage, so I'm only running 1.

Of course. It'd be really broken if Relinquished was a 1-4-1 target.

That'd be broken but funny. How much ya think it'd see play?

I got some fixes from someone on Pojo, and they seemed solid, so I implemented them. They are reflected in the opening post.

Man this deck has spirit! Just trust in the heart of the cards and you will prevail! This deck is so good that it may take down even Jaden Yuki the legendary duelist! It would be a tough match, but, if you trust in the heart of the cards, believe in your self, you could pull through, bro!

Now I'm not Jaden, but this deck has Spirit!

Gatcha!

No, but in all seriousness, I do agree. This deck is super special awesome.

Fixed. I couldn't resist.

OT: It's funny: Relinquished was one of the first Rituals, but it's still one of the best. Always good to see a Deck around it.

That's the thing.

I don't think there is anything to fix.

Except maybe find a way to give your opponent a monster to have Relinquished eat?

Shien's Spy/Swap is all I can think of right now.

Yeah, Creature Swap or something of the sort was something that I was considering. Maybe lol Magic Box or something?
