(Off-topic; is it just a coincidence that your name is Dictator7 and your avi is a German flag?)

Well' date=' you're an a****** yourself if you sink to that level

I'm not a nazi, if that's what your thinking. I have alot of german blood in me, and I quickly thought of my name, because my old one sucked. I like it. Anyway, why I am I an a**hole if I "sink to that level"? What level. I'm pretty sure I'm right. Fategazer thinks the same thing.

A country is bombed.

It is your country and you are its leader.

What will you do?

You try to make peace.

They continue to bomb your country.

Your citizens are dying and you have no allies.

You've been such an A-hole to everyone who tried to help you that they gave up.

You try to restore any sort of bond.

You get no one.

They continue to bomb your country.

You beg for mercy.

They are literally raping your country.

War is a reciprocated, armed conflict between two or more non-congruous entities, aimed at reorganising a subjectively designed, geo-politically desired result.

War is not necessarily considered to be the same as occupation, murder, or genocide because of the reciprocal nature of the violent struggle, and the organized nature of the units involved

War is basically Human Nature, one will win then the other and so the hatred grows.Eventually, a war so great will happen that the planet will be forced to start from primitive life again.

Like the following quote:

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein

I know war is important. America can only be at the top economically speaking if it's at war. It worked for WWI and WWII. The slump happened after we stopped, thus meaning we need more wars. I believe if the world goverments were lead by 1 goverment, we should make every country into a city state. We'll wage war upon each other, but not conquering, we'll try to save as much lives as possible, we'll keep that up until a greater threat comes towards us and then we all ban together and focus fire on it. Other wise, we would set rules. One of them would be no weapons of mass destruction, another is no biological or cyber warfare. Look at all of Greece back then. They were doing somewhat fine. Till they got conquered by the Romans. Then it went downhill. Sure, when there's no war, everything is fine. Except for the economy.

When an animal wages war, they fight it out then and there, and get over it. they know when to stop, usually. and its always over food, territory, or a mate. Granted humans get into fights over food, and a mate, and wars are fought over territory, but more often than not, its over something useless. Hitler started WWII over a treaty that Germany signed knowing the consequences of doing so. Granted it was a very poor treaty, but still. I know that officially it was started because he invaded Poland even though he shouldn't have, but still, he was raising his army way above what Germany was allowed, and performing acts of aggression he wasn't allowed to. Why? Because he didn't like the treaty. anyway, it boils down to something completely stupid that could easily have been resolved by talking it over with the representatives of the winning side. Most animals and plant don't have the capability of sitting down and talking things over, Humans do, thus, they have no reason for War. See the point?

Even if we WERE to abolish "war"' date=' we would just create something similar and call it something different.

[/quote']

Then that wouldn't be abolishing war. That would be calling it something different.

Besides, human nature can be changed. It's been done before through advancing civilization; abolition of war would just be another step towards a more civilized society. Just like computers, spoons, and step-stools.

yeah, I'd say we establish a similar system to war. We gather the leaders of countries who have a problems with each other, and sit them down, and have an impartial party listen to all sides of the story, and then have it resolved in that way. (As I recall, Arbitration is what ended the Russo-Japanese War, not War itself.)

so, if Arbitration can be used to end a war, why not have it used as a replacement to war? don't you think that if the leaders of a country sat down together, maybe played poker, talked about their problems, and maybe came up with something, anything, they could do to resolve their problems and avoid going to war altogether, that'd be better than just killing off 1000+ people for something that'll just be largely forgotten about less than half way through?

Devoted as corrupt people, us humans have been made into war plenty of times and it will never stop. We can't just merely say "War is bad. We need to end it" because that's waisting our energy to even say so, since we continue and continue. Even in every day life, people pick fighting as the best way to solve problems. Do we ever solve it in a nicer way? Rarely. We barely use our words and instead take action; just like war. But sometimes, we can't help but break out into challenge and fights, for some people don't listen to words and only are swayed with violence.

We need to change that. We need to get people into the helping of understanding to listen instead of to watch.

when war is upon countrys the technology advances quicker

Well, violence-related tech anyway.

Yeah. a lot of different industries are accelerated during war time, but not always in positive directions. I mean yeah, we learned a lot about nuclear fusion and fission during WW2, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the first nuclear reactor for non-military purposes came all that much sooner.
