summers307
Welcome (again) to the re-post of the monster set to my Avatar collection. I've reposted this because so many people kept telling me I needed to make the protagonists for my spells/traps, when I had already done so. Heads up, I've invented a new monster type for these cards. It's not standard, but hey, whats an Avatar set without benders? There are four new types of benders like in the show. Each bender has an ability that can be activated when there is another monster on the field that shares the same attribute of the bender. They work as follows: FIREBENDERS: tribute one fire type monster you control to destroy one attacking monsterWATERBENDERS: Return one water type monster to your hand to return one spell/trap card on the field to its owners hand.AIRBENDERS: Return on air type monster to your hand to return one monster your opponent controls to his/her handEARTHBENDERS: Tribute one earth type monster to negate the activation of a spell card. You can use the Bender itself to activate these abilities.

summers307
pretty good. The only problems are: -your OCG-Fake types Yes, I know they are fake types, in fact, I JUST replied to someone else who said that. I know their fake types. Even more surprisingly, their fake cards as well. I keep being accused of being OCG. Truthfully, I'm new, so I'm not even sure what that means. Care to enlighten the noob? Benoit4ever
pretty good. OCG is "Official Card Grammar". This means making the wording/descriptions on cards very eloquent, or true to the OCG--also "Official Card Game"/TCG--"Trading Card Game". I'm no God at this, but for example: Avatar Aang is [errors are in BOLD]: You may tribute this card to special summon "Avatar State" from your hand. It should be [Fixes in BOLD]: You can Tribute this card to Special Summon "Avatar State" from your hand. There yeh go. Oh, and if you wanna fill yourself with knowledge, read through this forum, it's extremely helpful: The, uh, Extremely Helpful Thing xD But some quick blurbs: Can > May graveyard > Graveyard deck > Deck tribute > Tribute summon, special summon, flip summon, or set > Summon, Special Summon, Flip Summon, or Set one, two, three, [etc.] > 1, 2, 3. [etc.] attack and defense position > Attack, and Defense Position draw, standby, main, or battle phase > Draw, Standby, Main, or Battle Phase Hope it helped! I look forward to your future cards, hopefully with this information in mind. ^_^ ~Frankie
Womi
But you will become better and better if you keep creating cards! :D
summers307
Thank you for the help on the my OCG (especially now that I GET it) and will get to work on fixing my cards. I'm going to ask this question and with luck I'll get some reliable answers: So many people keep telling me this fake type is whats bringing it down. Lets say I get rid of the bender type and the special abilities they entail; would spell caster be what the bender should be? If not, which type best fits? I think I can fix the "bender ability" concept with a bunch of equip spells, but I just want some closer on this. I made the bender type and ability because, lets face it, ITS AVATAR! A avatar set without a way for benders to be special didn't make sense to me. Thnx for the advice, starting the next expansion now!
Womi
And the fake types arent this bad if I think about it, because were in the Pop Cultures and not in the Realistic Cards.
