Nice cards. It's 11:00 here, so I'm too tired to read the effects, but I read some of them. The pics are good, good names, and I see you've put a lot of effort into this! Like I said, didn't read all of the effects, but I know you probably didn't put any OPed cards. So nice job! 13/10!

Yes, I did put in a lot of effort. I always try to think of new effects and it took a while.

**Seeing that sooooo many people like these I may make 50+ of these just to make a small booster. And if that is popular, a second booster with another 50. The pics are the only hard thing.

Thank you all SOOOOOOOOO much. I just put an order in for the booster. It has Gemstone Fairy - Diamond on the front. But yes, I do like the pics in the dragons best. They were just to hard to render.

 

INSIDER : Hmmmm.... *Thinks To Self* I could open a shop with booster packs, sell them, but instead of regular cards, give anime version cards.... HMMMMMMM

Well, okay, firstly I want to say that I really like this decktype, and the pictures you managed to find for these cards are really awesome. Especially the dragon cards. While the idea of these cards are very neat, I'll have to say that as they are now, they might breach what you'd call: "Over-the-top".

 

First off, The gemstone dragons. None of these can be destroyed in battle while in defense position. This has been done once before in the YGO game, except that required the monsters to be in attack mode to not be destroyed, and they all had about 1300 ATK or less (Cloudians). By having all the dragons being indestructible by combat while they are in defence position, then they ought to have some drawbacks. Also, you say that damage calculation are applied normally, it doesn't really matter with such stats, as there are only a few deck-types that have piercing damage.

 

And as far as their effect goes. As long as you have your field card out, your opponent cannot activate trap cards (This is a really, really good effect considering it is attached to a dragon that has 2800 Original ATK, that cannot be destroyed in battle in defense position, and is perfectly special summonable).

 

Remove 1 card from your graveyard to special summon a level 4 or less gemstone monster to the field (You didn't mention from where. But if it was supposed to be from the deck, then I'd say that free continuous special summoning from the deck is usually frowned upon)

 

Remove 1 card in your graveyard to special summon any gemstone monster from your hand. Well, free summoning of whatever you have in your hand. Coupled with cannot be destroyed in battle while in defense. Fair, no?

 

And then we have the last two. Not really a noticeable effect, but they are level 4 and 3, and cannot be destroyed in battle while in defense position, and has no drawbacks.

 

Okay then, worst is over with ^^; Onto the charms. You made a charm for every gemstone dragon you have. If the dragons weren't strong enough already, they also get a close-to-free "summon me from the deck" card. Of course, it was a nice idea, but non-heavy-cost summoning from the deck with no drawbacks (being destroyed in the end phase, losing life equal to it's ATK, etc...) is a bit too powerful.

 

And The Voodos. Well, I'd say that they are okay, even if they are a bit mediocre. They can sacrifice themselves to save their desognated dragon, and as long as their designated dragon is on the field, they have 1900 ATK. Fair, but a bit too restrictive.

 

Annd, you field card. It's basically a "Dragon's Bead" where you remove cards from the graveyard, instead of discarding them from your hand.

 

And then we have the series of gemstone fairies. All of them have a slight ATK increase bonus, that does not stack, and that have their own level, respecitively. While These cards are the newest addition, they are also a bit boring, with all of them doing the same (well, except for opal and diamond), and all of them giving a slight ATK and DEF boost.

 

jackpot and Pickaxe! Free Special summoning from the deck. Said it all before..

 

Glimmer... A swords of revealing light + Swords of conscealing light... Neato! =D

 

And lastly, gemstone mining driller... Copy+paste much, perhaps?..... Because I don't really think that you would use any Six-samurai monsters in this deck (It says: Equip only to a six-samurai monster)

 

Anyway... I'm really sorry if you got offended by some of my comments, which might have sounded rude. I'm also sorry if my criticism sounded too harsh, but I'm judging cards after how well they would do in Competetive play, and so far, your cards are some of the most powerful I have ever seen, and that could still be classified as a "balanced" card (there are too many obviously unbalanced cards out there).

 

This game builds around a certain quota, where better effects = higher level, lower stats, or drawbacks, and such. You have centered your effect around pretty much free summoning, from the deck, of monster's that have both good stats, and cannot be destroyed by battle if they go to defense position. If those cards had been made, they would have been the strongest decktype made so far, and that isn't actually balanced.

 

But, you did an awesome job with the cards, at least =)
