I don't understand why people hate Jews, but it enrages me when people speak so horrible about them. I am related to Jews and my great-grandfather was a Polish-Jew. I think that this is true racism and that if we were to talk about blacks the same way we speak about the Jews, it wouldn't be acceptable. Why do we do it then? I do not know.

Yes, Judaism is what is called an Ethnic Religion, along with Hinduism. You must be born into the religion and cannot join after Bar Mitzvah age as there is much to learn by the time you're 13. If you try to join after the age of 13, it is a very long and very tedious process, and most attempted converts give up in the years before they would ever become a convert.

My father is a Jew, his father was a Jew, his mother is a Jew, six of his seven siblings are Jews (If you want to know, the other is a Scientologist), their kids are Jews. My mother claims to be a Jew (which she is, technically), but she is more of a Eastern/Spiritual person than a Jew, My little brother and sister are both atheists.

 

My Neighbor Elad and the other 4 members of his family are Jews, his next door neighbors whom I know well, all 5 of them are Jews, the two houses down (first is the cook for the Chabad center and the other is another friend of mines) from them are both Jews, Josh and his family are all Jews, the Rabbi's assistant lives two houses down from him and the Rabbi lives across the road. Benzi and his family live down the road from me in an enclave of a Driveway. I have a lot of friends and acquaintances from Newton MA, which if any of you know the area, is a large Jewish community.

 

There are two Temples within a Mile of my house.

 

Don't tell me I'm don't know enough Jews to notice the similarities and differences between them and other groups of people.

 

Also, noticed how I never said that they were bad people, they just have certain traits in higher concentration (no pun intended) than other people do.
