With the right combinations of words, the tome-wielding mage can manipulate any power they wish... and instantly record that power in their tome. A ridiculous strength... to one versed in mystic theory. Obviously, I'm not — thus, I'm still at fervent work. I find the time to record this along with the one destructive spell I've happened upon. Crimen acerbus. I shan't record its effect here, but its power is immense. It's volatile, and works only in short bursts, but its effectiveness could be amazing. I've also learned a scrying spell; oculi mea eos vigilate. Not sure if I should use eos or the dative eis; I can apply them both per magical grammar. Trial and error, I suppose. I'll record events thus far if I can use it. The latter spell uses a great deal of energy, also, so until I grow in power, it won't be of much use.
