Andrew leaned back in his chair, "Elements and Energy, why are you the teacher?" The old man tapped his staff against the ground 3 times and the door and windows sealed shut blocking out all the light. You have to either create a mass of energy that is an exact match to the one I made here or you can create a mass of an element of the same size, but the element must be completely pure. Andrew laughed at the spectacle, "What you think that's funny young man! You're not allowed to use spellbooks either!" Andrew stopped laughing, "Then what's the point of this?" The old man took a deep breath, "The point is for you all to learn how to manipulate your abilities without having to rely on staffs, spellbooks, and words. Nothing happened for a moment, but then a ball of energy started to flicker for a few moments, then began to grow larger, and eventually stopped flickering as it grew. This exercise should take each of you about 15 minutes at a minimum." He walked over to Andrew, "Hm..........your specialty is Pure Energy. Well then I want a circle of five of those energy sparks! His anger made the energy ball red, and it grew a little more fast. It was about medium size now. Not nearly close to the energy the old man made, though. Andrew was annoyed, the old man had been right it was easier than he'd expected since Pure Energy was his specialty since he'd made 2 already but sustaining them and making more........that was making this extremely difficult. I guess this won't be such a bad class....) His energy ball was almost 3/4's as big as the old man's at this point. Although his lack of anger and emotion caused the growth rate to go back to normal.
