Bengal
Celestial Surge Ophidian Effect: While "A Legendary Ocean" is face-up on the field, control of this card cannot switch. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you can switch control of 1 of your face-up monsters to your opponent until his/her End Phase. If you activate this effect, this card can attack your opponent directly. When this card is destroyed by battle, select 1 Level 4 or lower WATER monster from your Deck or hand and Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position to your opponent's side of the field. As long as the selected card remains face-up in your opponent's control, all direct damage you would take is reduced to 0. ** Art by thedragonofdoom on DA ** Please comment and rate! Bengal
Thanks for the comments, I only gave it 1700 ATK because I didn't want to run the risk of it being overpowered.
ragnarok1945
well then I'd drop the lv down to 6, then it'd be more balanced
Bengal
Duly noted, I would change it but I forgot to save the card. Just pretend it is a Level 6 ;)

PakstraX
Well, it doesn't have to be a lvl 6, if there's a Legendary Ocean it would be a lvl 6. *** about the effect... How could Celestial Surge Ophidian be a level 4 so the effect says "select 1 Level 4 or lower WATER monster from your Deck or hand (except "Celestial Surge Ophidian")"? I know that it could if you activate a card like Level Conversion Lab or that spell that reduces the level of card in hand by 2, but if you would have to go through all that trouble to get it to level 4, why would you restrict yourself from summoning it? Anyway, 95/100 or 9.5/

Bengal
I'm not sure about some of those corrections. Not sure about "When" rather than "If" I know that "as a result of battle" = "by battle" I think I will keep it as it is to avoid repeatedly changing it over and over. Thanks for the help though.
