Being extremely rich...

Okay, this may seem retarded, but I would never want to be extremely rich. I had a weird thought, and it just seems like being this rich would make life boring. You know? Like... like when you beat a video game and you unlock everything and have all the special items and sheet, and it gets boring. I guess that would be the same kind of thing. You know?

BUT I DON'T KNOW. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Wierd.

My mother's extremely rich and she all she does with it is go abroad and waste it. To some exotic paradise - the Caribbean, Africa, wherever she wants.

I suggested if she'd like to take up philantrophy.

"No - epic waste of money."

Agreed. Being "poor" is more exciting. You never know what's for dinner. ;D

You might NOT eat any dinner.

I, personally, don't think being rich would be any more exciting then being poor, but it certainly would be more luxurious. You wouldn't have to work nearly as hard, nor worry nearly as much. You'd rarely have to worry about debt or anything similar, either.

If we're comparing life to a video game, I'd say being rich is more like being extremely over-leveled. While being poor is under-leveled. The 'rich' player wouldn't have to worry about any monsters or enemies, while the 'poor' player needs to worry much more about monsters and the like.

But that's what makes the game fun. ;)

Excellent comparison.

Either way, the rich and poor person are still playing the same game.

What I am asking is, how did you get rich? If you actually worked at something to get rich, you should enjoy your money to the fullest. If you stole it/inherited it/etc, you don't even deserve that money. =)

Being rich = Taxes

Taxes = Less money

Less Money = Sell your stuff

Sell your stuff = More money

More money = More taxes

Taxes = Less money

Less money = You have no more stuff to sell because your wife wants to keep living luxuriously.

Your wife dumps you.

No wife = No stuff

No stuff = You're poor.

So with the above equations, being rich is the same as beoing poor.

Although when your too underleveled you get annoyed from getting beaten too much.

I would like to be rich, but not excessively. Like Sakuya said, too easy.
