THE ANTI-HUMAN MANIFESTO

HORUS

Recommended Posts

A few responses.

1. This is neither copypasta or joke, but original serious content, written by me.

2. No, I will not remove my swastika avatar, and whichever mod keeps deleting it is a dick.

3. I'm not going to kill myself. My neighbor (a mother of three) just killed herself a few days ago and I'm not going to go down that path.

EDIT: I was forced to remove my avatar and have replaced it with a less than adequate alternative.

On a only slightly related note' date=' that's not a swastika >_>

Swastika's are canted, flat ones are Buddhist or something along those lines.

[/quote']

It is a swastika, but not a Nazi swastika. The flat one is the Hindu symbol.

I went to a Hindu temple and saw two red swastikas above 2 pillars. I think I would know.

I'm sorry Horus but this makes no sense. I'm not questioning your values (as every man has his own) but I think that there are some factors your not taking into consideration. Like the fact that humans help keep down the population of animals that breed quickly (such as rabbits and deer). If the human "factor" of life was suddently dropped from the face of the earth then it could potentially affect the way of life in a negetive way. This is just my opinion on the subject however.

Besides...how many people do you think are just going to kill themselves or line up in front of a building for a lethal injection just because they think it will save the earth?

We keep down other animals' populations because we don't want them in our cities' date=' not because they need to be kept down. Animals keep each others' populations in check naturally. We kill animals until they are extinct.

I didn't say people should or would [b']voluntarily[/b] be destroyed. I merely said we should be destroyed.

Good points.

I however have a different view on the subject but I will still wholeheartedly respect yours, as it does have good intentions. =)

Do not wish the downfall of Man, but instead, the reform.

I agree whole-heartedly with the problem, just not with your solution. You stated that we should be killed because we are destructive, that, in itself, is destruction. You would only be achieving the opposite of what you wished.

Saying the Earth would be better without Man is completely opinionated. Without Man, I assume animals would live normally, without the threat of humans. The plant life will be prosperous, and the sea and air would go unpolluted. However, if humans were to stay and not be destroyed. We would make advances in technology, and keep population at a steady rate. We could even implement new devices to help protect both the Earth and it's inhabitants. However, to achieve this, we would need a new way of thinking. Humans would need to stop acting so selfishly and start considering the things around him.

We have no way of detecting what the future holds, so saying the Earth would be better without Man is nothing more than a simple prediction.

It is a fact that humans deny the truth, however, if Man had a change of heart, as I stated earlier, the number of times this occurred would be lessened. Of course it would not completely cease, for we have the ability to reason, think, make deductions, etc. Anything with the ability to do this would certainly do the same, not just us humans.

Reform is impossible. I've dreamed of reform for a long time, only to realize the impossibility of reform as a solution.

Destroying the human race isn't very likely, either. As I seriously doubt those whom have the means to do it, would do it. Let alone actually succeed.

We will, of course, eventually be wiped out. But we have no way of knowing whether or not the human race would've changed by then or not. Most humans learn by consequence, so it's possible that an event could happen before then that changes their minds.

What logic does this entire belief stem from? It ignoers all aspects of instinct, it removes all forms of empathy, it completely destroys any sense of pride you have for yourself and your fellow man. It is a defeatist view that is incomplete.

If you turely believe this, your very life makes you a hypocrite.

You're saying that if I believe this, I should kill myself?

1 human death doesn't solve the human problem. The death of every human does.

There is no problem. One must be the strongest and we made our self that. If it was not for some animal raise would have been the strongest and be thinking they where doinging wrong. If you truly believe we are doining it wrong, then build your self a boat and wait till "god" raises the water level.

If I killed myself, it would not make a large impact, so to all those who have posted 'kill yourself' or will do, please stop. I am trying to say, this planet would flourish without man, many more species would exist, CO2 emissions would be at a far lower level. However, like any human, I value my own life. I know for a fact this world would function better without us, but cannot act as it would cause my own death, which I do not plan unless I know everyone else is going down with me; human nature; it is not a good thing.

Why must there be one species that dominates every other?

That is the difference between us then. I, the nihilist, do not value human life, not even my own.

There is no way of knowing how the world would have been with out us. And even with out us species die. Life has 1 Rule: Eat or be eaten maybe a slower way to kill an entire specie but it works just as well.

EDIT:

Why must there be one species that dominates every other?

That's the hunger to power resting with in every animal kind. Not in every animal but in every animal kind. It's like I said eat or be eaten. Do you think that those "primitive" little animals would live in peace with out use running the planet? Believe me with out use there would most likely be some other animal calling the rest primitive and was running the planet.

Surely it could still happen, but the fact remains that man has sped up this process at an extreme rate.

We do it fast, others would/could/should do it faster. You seem to base your entire story on how we are doing it wrong and that it should have been right. But there is no real right or wrong only what the majority calls it, and the majority doesn't agree with you.

Sadly I do value my life. I wish I wouldn't sometimes, yet I do. No matter how insignificant, it is all I have known, therefore, the best thing ever to me.
