DM is not an archtype

I'm not really up-to-date with the current meta and I don't plan on using this deck competitively, but I'd like some suggestions. I'm probably running too many traps and I'm not sure if DAD fits in (though it works ok with Grepher), but I don't know what to replace.

I'd like a reference on how to make a good side deck.

Final Edits: Made changes suggested werewolfjedi, except -2 Sages Stone. Added extra Roar and +1 Cold Wave. Need to know exactly how Krebons is played, as I've never used it before.

Count: 40

I would start with this.

-1 DM

-2 DMG (you really don't need her.)

-double coston (that is not how you want to summon dark.)

-Diffusion Wave-Motion (that card is not good, you can wait, trust me.)

-1 sage's stone.

-1 thousand knives. (both of these are dead draws unless you have DM or DMG respectively, so you don't want to run them, however they can still be useful in some cases.)

in their place, I would add these.

+ 3 kycoo (this gives you more easily played spellcasters, allowing Magical Dimension to work more often. as well as magician's circle)

+2 foolish burial (this helps you get dad at the right moment, and keeps DM from being a dead draw.)

+dark magic attack.( you want to play this card with DM, it is the only legal harpie's feather duster out there, ABUSE IT.)

I would start with this.

-1 DM

-2 DMG (you really don't need her.)

//Maybe..

-double coston (that is not how you want to summon dark.)

//Realized that overnight

-Diffusion Wave-Motion (that card is not good' date=' you can wait, trust me.)

//Realized this almost as soon as a I put it in but was too lazy =P

-2 sage's stone.

-1 thousand knives. (both of these are dead draws unless you have DM or DMG respectively, so you don't want to run them, however they can still be useful in some cases.)

//I'm thinking if I only have 1 DMG and 1 Sages Stone it's probably not worth running Stone at all since I'm rarely going to use it. DMG can still be used for Dark Grepher/Circle summon.

in their place, I would add these.

//+1 something else, not sure about prisma as it probably works best mained with DM and DMG both mained as well.

[/quote']

Prisma? It helps you dumping DM and is a Level 4 monster that can activate the effects of DM cards

It requires Dark Paladin or Dark Flare Knight in the extra.

Still thinking about this, not totally sure how useful it would be without maining it and that involves taking stuff out =P

Just one thing...

Please don't put DAD as a tribute' date=' it's not. It is a special summon only monster. Big difference.

[/quote']

It was classified like that by Deck Studio. I'm aware it's not technically a tribute monster but if separation generally occurs between monsters lvl 5+ and 4-.

I don't think he's being sarcastic.

he just needs to lrn2play.

No, he is.

Read ALL of his posts, they are all absolutely atrocious. Atrocious to the point where every single one of them is sarcastic. Most of his points DIRECTLY oppose that which would seem obvious, meaning that he must understand to a great extent what's good, and is just trolling us by saying exactly what we would say "lolnoob" to.
