Static
Well, I FOR ONE don't feel like waiting for the Debate Section "Thread Approval," so I will post it here and will wait for it to either be locked from disapproval or moved to debates; BUT AT LEAST WE CAN HAVE A HEADSTART AT OUR INTERRRNET ARGUING SHALL WE ?? Word. Kay. Topic of Debate: Faith VERSE Reasoning Resolve (Faith): Faith is the superior perspective because it allows the user to be happy and certain in their living, even if it could be proven that they are misguided. Resolve (Reasoning): Reasoning is the superior perspective because it allows the user to interpret the world through a logical perspective, one that does not rely on an object of housed faith, which the user will be certain of, though it may leave them unhappy. Pick a side, and argue it. The first person can start by rebutting either of my resolves, but you don't have to.

Static
Life without any faith is bleak.Life without any reason is foolish. Then where does the balance lie? What areas should faith be instituted and what areas should reason be instituted? What groups' date=' parts of life should each play the bigger role in? [b']Also, this thread is about Creeds or "Religious" beliefs.[/b] It doesn't need to be construed to the point where one can say "Faith is good in a relationship" and still be on topic. HORUS
Eli, I'm sure you know my standpoint on this, as you've definitely read my Facebook note and the ensuing debate, but I don't feel like arguing this right now, as it is 2:15 AM, so I'll post later when I have the willpower to do so. Guest JoshIcy
Eli, you know this topic is utterly stupid. There is no debate here, that we don't already know any and all answers to. Dead-ban on anyone who posts after me.
Static
Eli' date=' you know this topic is utterly stupid. There is no debate here, that we don't already know any and all answers to. Dead-ban on anyone who posts after me.[/quote'] Stupid? I'm trying to start an argument; I'm aware that many members have completely conflicting opinions, but that's why we have debates, no? Why shouldn't we argue over this? I didn't favor any specific side when I posted the thread in the topic starting post, so it isn't an unfair topic whatsoever. Feel free to, Comrade. I knew the consequences when I replied; and I have 60 oz of Ayahuasca and the excitement of my Dark Strike coming in the mail Either today or the next day to keep me preoccupied from a site I check only at night when I can't sleep. ;)
