Cowboy Dan Posted July 6, 2009 Report Share Posted July 6, 2009 [align=center]Step 1: Download Frets on FireStep 2: Download Audacity File ConverterStep 3: Download Your MusicStep 4: [spoiler=Open Audacity]Step 4b: Go to Project>>Import Audio...Step 4c: Select the Mp3 File You Downloaded.Step 4d: Go to File>>Export As Ogg VorbisStep 4e: Save File With Name: your_song_name(.ogg) Note: Do not include '.ogg' [spoiler=Step 4f (Image)]Set to -18dBStep 4g: Go to File>>Export As Ogg VorbisStep 4h: Save File With Name: your_song_name_bg(.ogg) Note: Do not include '.ogg'Recap: You Should Now Have Two Files Called 'your_song_name(.ogg) And your_song_name_bg(.ogg) [spoiler=Step 4i (Image)]Go To The Folder Where Your Frets on Fire Download Is. Example:(My Download Is In My Documents Folder)Step 4j: Right Click Frets on FireStep 4k: Click 'Open file location'Step 4l: Go to Data>>SongsStep 4m: Go to Organize>>New FolderStep 4n: Create New Folder With Desired NameStep 4o: Drag The Files your_song_name(.ogg) and your_song_name_bg(.ogg) Into The File You Recently CreatedStep 4p(Optional): Open GIMP Or Any Image Editing Software. Open Your Desired Image. Crop to 256X128 Pixels. Save It As A .png. Drag The Image To The Folder You Made In Data>>Songs. [spoiler=Step 5]Open Frets on FireStep 5b: Go To Song Editor>>Import New SongStep 5c: Enter Desired Name For SongStep 5d: The Next Page Will Have The Folder That You Created. Click It.Step 5e: In The Folder Will Be The Files your_song_name(.ogg) And your_file_name_bg(.ogg)Step 5f: Select your_song_name(.ogg)Step 5g: The Next Page Will Look Pretty Much The Same As The Last. Select Your Folder, Then Select your_file_name_bg(.ogg)Step 5h: On The Next Page You Can Make The Notes To The Song. Make The Notes.step 5i (Optional(: When Your Done With Your Notes, Click the Esc Key. On The Next Page, Select 'Set Artist Name'. Click It, And Type In The Desired Name. When Your Done, Click The Esc Key. On That Page, There Will Be A 'Select Label' Option. Click It. It Will Take You To A Page With The File You Created. Click Your File. Inside, You Will Find The Image You Created. Click It. Now Click The Esc KEy. On That Page, Click 'Save Changes'.Note: You Must Click Save Changes After You Make The Notes To The Song, Or Else All Prgress Will Be Lost.
