While alcohol being banned would take away freedoms it would be for the best, since it really isn't doing people any good. I think they should increase the punishment for the harm of other people caused by drunks. If someone chooses to be intoxicated, rather than sober, that's fine though. Innocent deaths in relation to drinking already exist, and would only escalate if you made it illegal. People die everyday. 70 children will be dead by the end of the day.
