Strategies for yatagarasu

This is my list of strategies for Yatagarasu (traditional format)

 

1)Chaos emperor dragon-envoy of the end

 

This is the most obvious one, just explode while Sangan (note that anytime i say "Sangan" witch of the black forest also works) is on the field and peck away whatever lifepoints they have left with Yata

 

2)ocean dragon lord neo daudilus

 

Personally I like to use this one the most because it is generally faster. Use Ocean Dragon Lords effect while Sangan is on your field, destroying all cards, get out Yata from your deck. Very simple. You will be doing 3100 damage a turn; they will be finished within 2-3 turns.

 

3)Forced reqisition+final destiny

 

This is my other favorite combo, using old cards. For those of you that don't know, Forced requisision makes your opponent discard the same number of cards you do. Final Destiny is a Spell Card that destroys all cards on the field, but requires you to discard 5 cards. Do this with sangan on the field; you will likely annihilate all cards in their hand and their field, and get a Yata in your own hand. THe only issue is that both these cards are very old, respectively from Pharao's Servent and Magic Ruler. They may be hard to get.

 

4) Black Rose Dragon+De-synchro

Personally I don't like this method as much because it is not as likely to work for you, but I suppose if you can synchro summon black rose while Yata is in your hand and no cards ar in theirs it would work, just use the effect and destroy all cards on the field. The minor issue is that you will likely have already used up your Normal Summon for the turn. If this is an issue, DON'T use the effect, wait until your next turn, then use De syncro. Then, just re-summon it and use the effect this time. Like I said; it's unlikely but it IS possible.
