I was yet again bored. And I've been hurting my head thinking of new archetypes, so instead, I've decided to post my 4 favorite archetypes I've already created.

 

#1: Digital Monsters

LIGHT / Level 4

[spellcaster/Effect]

ATK/1400 DEF/1000

Once per turn, place 1 Digital Counter on this card. (max. 12) While this card is face-up on the field with "Digital Wasteland" on the field. Once per turn, activate these effects based on the number of Digital Counter(s) on this card.

+1: Remove 1 Digital Counter from this card to destroy 1 card on the field.

+2: Remove 1 Digital Counter from this card to draw 1 card.

+3: Remove 1 Digital Counter from this card to select 1 card from your opponent's hand and discard it.

 

Digital Fighter

EARTH / Level 4

[Warrior/Effect]

ATK/1500 DEF/1200

Once per turn, place 1 Digital Counter on this card. (max. 12) This card gains these effects based on the number of Digital Counter(s) on this card:

+1: When this card attacks, increase this card's ATK by 500.

+2: If this card is selected as an attack target, switch it to Defense Position.

+3: If this card is destroyed, return this card to your Deck at the End Phase.

 

Digital Hunter

+2: As long as this card is in face-up Defense Position, this card is the only attack target for your opponent's monsters.

+3: By tributing this card, negate the attacks of your opponent's monsters by the number of Digital Counter(s) on this card.

This card can only be equipped to a "Digital" monster. While this card is equipped to a "Digital" monster, increase the ATK of the equipped "Digital" monster by 500 for each Digital Counter on the equipped "Digital" monster.

Digital Download

[Trap]

This card is activated when your opponent declares an attack. When this card is activated, select 1 "Digital" monster you control. Decrease the ATK of the attacking monster by 500 equal to the number of Digital Counter(s) on the selected "Digital" monster.

Earthbound Warrior - Aslla

Earthbound Warrior - Uru

Earthbound Warrior - Cusillu

Earthbound Immortal - Kyukyoku Ccarayhua

When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, except by its own effect, destroy all cards on the field (except this card).

 

Earthbound Immortal - Kyukyoku Aslla Piscu

When this card is removed from the field, except by its own effect, destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls, and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each monster destroyed.

 

Earthbound Immortal - Kyukyoku Uru

Once per turn you can discard 1 from your hand to take control of a face-up monster your opponent controls until the End Phase.

 

Earthbound Immortal - Kyukyoku Cusillu

Earthbound Immortal - Kyukyoku Chacu Challhua

While this card is in face-up Defense Position, your opponent cannot conduct their Battle Phase. Once per turn, you can inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the ATK of this card. This card cannot attack the turn this effect is used.

 

Earthbound Immortal - Kyukyoku Wiraqocha Rasca

Your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. This card can attack your opponent directly. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can return up to 3 other cards you control to the Deck, then your opponent randomly discards cards from their hand equal to the amount of cards you returned, and this card gains 1000 ATK for each card you returned to your Deck.

 

Earthbound Immortal Dragon

"1 Tuner"+"1 Earthbound Immortal". There can only be 1 face-up "Earthbound Immortal" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. Your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. This card can attack your opponent directly. Once per turn, by discarding 1 "Earthbound Immortal" from your hand, this card gains the effect of the discarded "Earthbound Immortal" until the End Phase. During the End Phase, return the discarded "Earthbound Immortal" to your Deck.

While this card is on the field, if an "Earthbound Immortal" monster is destroyed by battle or by a card effect, remove it from play instead of sending it to the Graveyard until the End Phase. During the End Phase this card was removed from play, Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. All "Earthbound Immortal" monsters you control gain 500 ATK during battle.

 

Earthbound Sacrifice

Select 1 "Earthbound Warrior" you control and tribute it to Special Summon 1 "Earthbound Immortal" written in the text of the tributed "Earthbound Warrior".

 

Earthbound Reinforcements

[Continuous Spell]

While this card is face-up on the field, all "Earthbound Immortal"(s) effect that says that there can only be 1 face-up "Earthbound Immortal" on the field is negated.

 

Revival of the Earthbound

[Continuous Spell]

When an "Earthbound Warrior" is removed from the field by its own effect, Special Summon the removed "Earthbound Warrior". The Special Summoned "Earthbound Warrior"(s) effect is negated until the End Phase of your opponent's turn.

 

Earthbound Exchange

Send an "Earthbound Immortal" monster from your hand to the Graveyard. Add a Field Spell from your Deck to your hand, then draw a card.

 

[spoiler=Traps]Call of the Earthbounds

[Trap]

This card is activated when an "Earthbound Warrior" monster is destroyed as a result of battle. Special Summon 1 "Earthbound Immortal" monster that was written in the text of the destroyed "Earthbound Warrior" from your Deck. The Special Summoned "Earthbound Immortal" cannot attack until your next turn.

 

Legacy of the Earthbounds

[Continuous Trap]

While this card is face-up on the field, whenever an "Earthbound Immortal" is destroyed by battle or by card effect, Special Summon 1 "Earthbound Warrior" that has the name of the destroyed "Earthbound Immortal" written in their card text from your hand, Deck or Graveyard.

 

Earthbound Barrier

[Continuous Trap]

This card activates when an "Earthbound Warrior" or an "Earthbound Immortal" is targeted by a card effect. Select 1 "Earthbound Warrior" or "Earthbound Immortal" on the field. Place "Earthbound Counter"(s) on this card equal to the level of the selected "Earthbound Warrior" or "Earthbound Immortal". (max. 12) By removing 1 "Earthbound Counter" from this card, you can negate the effect of a card effect that targets 1 "Earthbound Warrior" or "Earthbound Immortal" on your side of the field. When all counters are removed from this card, destroy this card.

 

Surprise Arrival of the Earthbound Immortal

[Trap]

Send all monsters you control to the Graveyard. You can activate a Field Spell from your Deck. Then, Special Summon an "Earthbound Immortal" monster from your hand, Deck, Extra Deck, or Graveyard whose Level is equal to the sum of the Levels of the monsters sent to the Graveyard this way. (If the "Earthbound Immortal" monster is a Synchro Monster, this Special Suummon is treated as a Synchro Summon.)

 

Earthbound Justice

[Counter Trap]

Tribute 1 "Earthbound" monster. Negate the activation and effect of an opponent's Spell or Trap Card and destroy it. If the Tributed "Earthbound" monster was Normal Summoned, draw a number of cards equal to the number of monsters you Tributed to summon the "Earthbound" monster + 1.

 

 

I give credit for "Suprise Arrival of the Earthbound Immortal", "Earthbound Exchange", and "Earthbound Justice" to Mystery Guest.

 

#3: Shadow Beasts

Shadow Beast - Nocturnal Tiger

EARTH / Level 4

Once per turn, place 1 Counter on 1 monster your opponent control for every "Shadow Beast" monster in your Graveyard. This card is not destroyed as a result of battle. At the End Phase that this card activated its effect, send this card to the Graveyard. If this card was sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, Special Summon 1 "Shadow Beast" monster from your Graveyard.

 

Shadow Beast - Silent Snake

EARTH / Level 6

Once per turn, negate the effects of all "Shadow Beast" monsters you control that sends them to the Graveyard at the End Phase. Increase the ATK of "Shadow Beast" monsters by 500. At the End Phase that this card activated its effect, send this card to the Graveyard. If this card was sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, Special Summon 1 "Shadow Beast" monster from your Graveyard.

 

Shadow Beast - Death Cougar

Once per turn, increase this card's level by 1. If this card is used in a Synchro Summon with a "Shadow Beast" monster you control, select 2 "Shadow Beast" monsters from your Graveyard and Special Summon them in face-up Attack Position. At the End Phase that this card activated its effect, send this card to the Graveyard. If this card was sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, Special Summon 1 "Shadow Beast" monster from your Graveyard.

 

Shadow Beast - Dusk Whale

At the End Phase that this card activated its effect, send this card to the Graveyard. If this card was sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, Special Summon 1 "Shadow Beast" monster from your Graveyard.

 

Shadow Beast - Ravenous Shark

This card cannot be Special Summoned except by a Dark Synchro Summon or by the effect of a "Shadow Beast" monster. Once per turn, you can destroy 2 monsters on the field. If you activate this effect, this monster cannot attack and it is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase. If this card is sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, Special Summon 1 "Shadow Beast" monster in your Graveyard.

 

Shadow Beast Malice Monkey

DARK / Level 3

Once per turn, you can discard 1 "Shadow Beast" monster from your hand to draw 2 cards. This card cannot attack the turn its effect is activated. If you activate this effect, send this card to the Graveyard during the End Phase. If this card is sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, Special Summon 1 "Shadow Beast" monster in your Graveyard.

Shadow Beast Night Hawk

Shadow Leviathan

When this card is Special Summoned, select up to 3 "Shadow Beast"(s) in your Graveyard and Special Summon them to your side of the field. This card can attack for every "Shadow Beast" on your side of the field. If this card does that, all "Shadow Beast" monsters cannot attack this turn.

 

Dark Tuner Shadow Beast - Dark Wasp

All monsters with "Union Tuner" in their name gains 500 ATK & DEF when Special Summoned by this card's effect. Once per turn, unequip 1 "Union Tuner" monster, the unequipped "Union Tuner" monster can attack your opponent directly.

 

Multi-Union

Once per turn, select 1 monster on your field. If the selected monster is equipped with 1 Union monster or 1 or more "Union Tuner" monsters, equip as many Union monsters or "Union Tuner" monsters from your Deck to the selected monster.

 

Tuner Switch

[spell]

Select 1 "Union Tuner" monster on the field. The selected "Union Tuner" monster is treated as a Tuner monster until the End Phase of the turn.

[Counter Trap]

When your opponent equips a Union Monster to one of his/her monsters, destroy the equipped monster and Special Summon the Union Monster to your side of the field.

 

Union Cannon

[Continuous Trap]

Each time a Union monster uses its effect to equip to 1 face-up monster on the field, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent. By tributing 1 "Union Tuner" monster on your side of the field, inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent.

Here are my comments on the cards:

 

Digital

Many of the Digital cards are overpowered if all the cards are allowed to have 12 Counters. I suggest reducing the max amount to 5 for each card. That way, very few, if any, of the effects become so overpowered.

Not just that, but Digital Virus OTKs your opponent if 13 Digital Counters on the field, which is quite easily accomplish-able with the Synchros. Limiting the number of Digital Counters to 5 per card would help limit this possibility, and prevent your Dragon from dealing 12x battle damage, which would only require 667 Battle Damage to OTK your opponent.

 

Earthbound

I see no problems here.

 

Shadow Beast

They're all right. they help keep the most powerful one that can be summoned at the time in play or summoning more powerful ones through Synchro Summons and Dark Synchro Summons, so I don't see any problems with this type of beatdown strategy.

 

Union Tuner

Try the title "Tunion" rather than "Union Tuner". One problem is that it is impossible to Synchro Summon with them since they are all Tuners and turn the monsters they equip into Tuners. Not just that, but the way you worded Tuner Switch, it is pretty much useless. Good idea though, you just need to make some non-Tuners or make another archetype that works well with these cards.
