Well, this is my first RP on this site, but certainly not my first full stop.

 

Plot:

 

millions of years ago, a great war was waged, between two terrifying powers for control of something truly amazing. Ofcourse, records are sketchy, few and far between so it's no surprise that this tale is a little vague. This day, however, the war shall end. This is your war. And you shall end it.

 

you are all part of a High School in Neuvo Destro, California that is proud of its martial arts and self-defence program. Everything in this RP has a distinct Anime theme to it, specifically, the upper hand in combat is determined by how fast you can move, how glowy you can make yourself, and how bada$$ you look while doing it.

 

However, until the time where you can scream for half an hour increase your glowyness, you are regular human beings

Plot points will be revealed as we go, specifically when you get your abilities. Until it really kicks off, it kind of functions like a Life game (hence the optional section)

While you can start out not knowing the others, it would probably be easier if you were all friends in some way.

This is pretty much a warning. As a roleplayer and writer, I have a specialisation in detail, specifically fight scenes and, putting it delicately, the after math. Sexual stuff can be left to other people as I do find it hard and uncomfortable writing about that kind of thing, but gore and horror I somehow have a natural talent with (oh yeah, because that's so much better). I'll tone it down as much as possible (as per the rules of the forum itself) but don't say I didn't warn you if you feel disturbed when I describe some of the things that happen in this game (mainly the result of one specific character who is yet to be seen)

Bio and Personality: Dark, brooding, reserved, cold and sarcastic. Was transfered to Neuvo Destro a few years back when the rest of his family reportedly vanished off the face of the planet. Usually doesn't talk to anyone, except Sarah, who is counted as his only friend. Whatever happened to his family, he mannaged to inherit a massive amount of the wealth.

Appearance:

unlike the other girls in the school, Sarah usually wears casual T-shirts, jeans and sneakers.

Bio and Personality: Tomboyish and proud, Sarah acts as a confident opposite to Chris in almost everyway. She's a fun loving kind of person, but also caring and can proove to be a worrier, and after getting to know Chris, she found herself worrying for him in an indepth manner. Her family grew up on the Police force, so she is an accomplished marksman.

that's based on what you choose, but specifics will be revealed along with the plot.

 

Erm, how gory can this get, if permitted?:

 

some of the enemies in this game are, in a word, insane. Silent Hill level insane. And how gory can I get, without getting into the realms of the stupid? Well, I once wrote a short segment of a story about mechs and power suits. I put alot of detail into combat and gore because, as ashamed as I am to admit it, I can detail it quite well. And in this segment, a soldier in a power suit was picked up by a Gundam style mecha (the bad guy) and was crushed in one hand. You can get the picture, I imagine.

 

So, by what you've just said, is this a horror game?:

 

no. Well, I didn't intend it to be, but it may elevate to that until you guys get your powers (part of horror is the inability to fight back, right?). Take prototype, for example. that's a ridiculously gory game, but it's not a horror game because, technically, you ARE the thing that goes bump in the night. That, and you have powers that allow you to fight back against the things that are meant to be scary. this is basically the same principal.

What level of roleplay will you be going for?:

 

um, well, i don't mind really. I'd preffer if posts weren't just one line, but sometimes we can't help that. It would be helpful if you used proper grammar and spelling, as it makes it easier to read. Good description and detail would be nice, just so we can get a good image of what we're seeing/doing.
