Womi
What do you think?Might robots be developed so intelligent, that theyre cleverer than the human race and maybe gain domination?
40kendgame
Machine Intelligence is possible, but a looning long way off. Not a chance in our lifetime.
Death Metal
Google. It's clever and people depend on it. BOW TO THE NEW OVERLORD! HAIL GOOGLE!

Womi
You have to think of the fact that robots are just at the beginning of their "evolution" and are already cleverer than a big part of animals. If it goes on like this, its not not possible that they start their own revolution.
Kirsten889
nah, i don't think that could happen

fenrir
Supposedly a machine can only be as smart as the human that created it. Or something like that. >_>
Womi
But if a human creates a learning robot? Because robots didnt have evolution, mutation and natural selection, no limits are put by nature so there is an endless way up.
Guest JoshIcy
They lack instinct. And can never be given that. They will always be lesser. No matter how intelligent. No worries.
OmegaWave
I don't know about you, but a MegaMan Styled world would be awsome. But yeah, the more we develop machines, the more advanced their AI will be. To the point where they can think for themselves and take over......TOTALLY LIKE MEGAMAN O_O I think CAPCOM predicted the future.......
Static
Google. It's clever and people depend on it. BOW TO THE NEW OVERLORD! HAIL GOOGLE! A very good point. Robots won't get much smarter than we are, but we can sure as hell get dumber than they are. The strength and weakness of being a living structure is the fact that we adapt to our surroundings. When things of the modern era convenience our lives, it becomes second nature to do things manually, the way nature intended. If we somehow were stuck in a technological rebellion and our race had at that point adapted to being completely dependent on this technology, then we would be absolutely screwed, not because of the greatness of the robots, but because of how far we let ourselves fall. ihop
Nope. No chance, if humans invent something that is so strong it tries to kill us, we can just make robots that will fight them. Never gonna happen.
OMGAKITTY
Well I for one, welcome our new robotic overlords. When this happens, you're going to be hearing one big I TOLD YOU SO from the amish.Nope. No chance' date=' if humans invent something that is so strong it tries to kill us, we can just make robots that will fight them. Womi
But if they have an integrated learning process? And robots cannot become "intelligent" because they only own an AI. And it wouldnt be like in this films where the robots say: "I will deeeeztroy yuuuu.*beep-beep*". We cant tell what happens in the future but it sure wouldnt be like this. Integrated learning algorithms already exist, although at a primitive level. However, a level of intelligence at a human level is, as I said before, a LOONING long way off. What's more likely to happen in the near future is a fusion of man and machine.
