I'll be on all day. While, I'm on the topic of Geminis, I'd like to bring up a proposed OCG change for them - since their wording has a lot of wasted space.Here's an example of how I think they should be done:|Storm Carrier|CCG1|Thunder/Gemini/Effect|WIND|4|1700|1500|Gemini Effect: *Once per turn, in addition to your Normal Summon, you can Normal Summon 1 Thunder-Type monster from your hand.| Konami needs to include the bit about it being treated as a Normal Monster ect ect because many players getting new cards wouldn't know what the above meant, it's the same reason they can't use piercing. However, the YCCG is being played by a different group of people. I expect that just about everyone who plays would know how Gemini's work already. So I propose that we remove this:This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:And replace it with this:Gemini Effect:Because they will all have 'Gemini' written on the card next to the type, that could now be considered enough to say that it's a Normal Monster on the field/in the Graveyard and that when Summoned, it gets an effect. The 'Gemini Effect' just allows them to be recognized as Geminis if people miss the card text and also for them to have some off-field effects. Agree? Disagree? Better wording? Shadow Zero Posted September 26, 2009 Report Share Posted September 26, 2009 i agree with the gemini statement, but would like to add that since this is the yccg, and since gemini still needs to be gemini, normal summon it on turn one, and then on turn 2, automatic special summon being the second summoner so as get the effect. this way, you don't have to waste another normal summon to get the effect, but the gemini monster still has to go through survival so as to get its effect. thus, it still retains a great portion of it originality.so does everyone agree with the above statement? If you do have it installed then it should be common sense. I'm mean come on shadow-zero I don't think I met someone so computer illiterate in my entire life.
