I don't mean to blame you Umbra, but the reason is Moderation. Add some Rules that mean you can't have this 2-sentence blasphemy Role-Plays. Discuss. Besides, even if I would add a rule, how would it be managed? How would it be moderated? It all comes down to the members again, reporting the posts that break the rules. They can't moderate every thread. That's alot of threads. Anyway, I'm trying to change mah ways, because I originally thought that was the way to roleplay when I came here. I learned that I was wrong and I've been trying to change. In order to help make the [rp] world, a better place, I'm looking at myself, and making a change. That's the BEST thing you can do. If they did, they think it would waste a LOT of time, but I think long posts such as the ones in PokeCommunity are a bit too long (maybe half of it is long enough). moneypony Posted July 25, 2009 Report Share Posted July 25, 2009 I think I got it why This is a YGO forum but in a RP section,most people would prefer YGO rps (similar to how PC has many pokemon RPs) but YGO is hard to RP with since it's based around dueling and those are hard to rp. You can make broken cards. Easy to god-mode. Doesn't become fun if you purposely lose. Which is what I believe is true for most residents of this site. =/ I've been in far more advanced RPs than that. I just don't try here, because it simply isn't worth it when so many other people can't RP for beans. But if the RP section received a couple extra mods, as well as implimented that rule, it could easily be enforced. With extra mods, routinely looking for 2-liner posts wouldn't be too hard. I mean i've seen tons of newcomers who post attachments because they don't know how to "click and paste," let alone that they would know how to make long posts, some rules will never see daylight because of too many idiots.I mean, take a look at some of the serious Roleplay threads and count how many members are participating in that thread it would be maximum 3, why? All of them. They could have followed in the footsteps of good roleplayers, like Solus Shade or Supreme Gamemaster. Good men, who believed in a day's work for a day's pay. Instead they followed the droppings of one-liners and egotists and didn't realize that the trail led over a precipice until it was too late. Don't tell me they didn't have a choice. I love it. I tried posting in some RP's, and left without notice because of the fact of poor post content. I see posts like, "He went to the library" and, "She saw (Name of player) over by the wall, and walked to him, and said, "Hi"."The only RP's I expected to be great, is Umbra's current one, speaking of which, what happened to it?And also, Davok's "The Armageddon Saga : Battle Royale [PG-16] [Part I] [CRVR]", and other RP masters and legends posted RP threads.I even try to unconsciously influence them by making detailed posts and such. I'm fully behind the enforced Advanced Clause, and will happily support it.
