Even though they should have listed a few extra reasons, this is a nice comment that states a problem and compliments his art.

NickLD, you obviously don't have much experience when it comes to design, do you?

 

Criticism IS in fact, something that helps you out. -.- Posted criticism harshly because without harsh criticism, you won't realize what you did wrong. You can still like your piece all you want, but there is always something wrong with it. I get criticism for all my work, but I can still like it. Realize that YCM isn't the only place with a Design section. I go to several sites to get my work criticized. Places filled with Beginners - +Inters. The Low Mods - Inters would have told you the exact same thing as -.-. -.- is actually around High Mod territory, so he definitely has more skill where design is concerned.

 

Something I notice when I see a new designer is that even though they figure their work is good, it really sucks. It's the harsh criticism that tells them their work sucks. It drives them to get better. No point in getting mad over it, because these people have more experience than them.

 

-.- is more experienced than probably every designer on YCM. Don't want to take his criticism? Fine. Go to some other site and they will tell you the same damn thing.

Also, you said that his worked sucks because it was CnC'ed. That means everything sucks.

 

We know Omni is experienced, but that doesn't mean has to go to every thread saying how much the art sucks balls.

He said to be nicer, and asked normally. Omni started spamming him, he said to stop. Everyone caved in on NickLD and blasted him for that, flaming him. Then Omni started spamming again, only to annoy Nick. So the flame war starts because of a simple "Calm down" and "stop spamming" because these showcase people stick up for people when they're not even being attacked. >_>
