effect: This card is also treated as a Fiend-Type monster. When this card is Summoned, role 1 six-sided die. Discard a number of cards from the top of your Deck equal to the result on the die. For each FIRE monster discarded by this card's effect, inflict 400 points of Direct Damage to your opponent. During your End Phase, you can add up to 2 cards discarded by this card's effect to your hand.

i) OCG: When this card is summoned, role 1 six-sided die. Discard a number of cards from the top of your Deck equal to the result on the die. For each FIRE monster discarded by this card's effect, inflict 500 points of Direct Damage to your opponent. During your End Phase, you can add up to 2 cards discarded by this card's effect to your hand.

 

ii) Blurry pic, but it fits.

iii) I would change it to a Beast-Warrior Type, since it is bipedal.

iv) Considering it is a 'Mino-Reaper'; you may wish to have it treated as a Fiend-Type monster as well.

v) I would decrease the burn to 400 damage. If you are using a FIRE, Pyro or Dragon deck, you could discard a large number of monsters, inflicting an unfair amount of damage. Indeed, it is linked to the die throw; but 500 is still too much, even for a one-time burn; IMO.

[Deucalion]

The artwork is a tad blurry. Effect is nice, but it needs clarifying. If I roll a two, and discard two monsters, both of which are Fire types, but I chose to add both those cards to my hand, does my opponent still receive 1000 points of damage? At the moment, the effect is too vague to tell. Personally, I'd just remove the "and add 2 cards" thing altogether.

Two last fixes: "summoned" needs a capital S in the second sentence, and there needs to be a space between the . and the W in: "monster.When", inbetween the first and second sentence. Once that's done, it'd be in the 8.8 category.

This card is great in a FIRE deck but it can also be a Lightsworn support cause of its Discard effect. Nice amount of Damage, good ATK and DEF, balances it out.

For each FIRE monster sent to the Graveyard by this effect, inflict 400 damage to your opponent. During your End Phase, you can add up to 2 cards sent to the Graveyard by this effect to your hand.

I really liked the burn effect :D. Also, the returning effect is pretty good too. BUt I think 400 a litte much :?. 6 = 2000 DAMAGE :shock:. Also, this will happen evertyme he is summoned :?. I think you should "When this card is Normal Summoned", to make it balanced.

Zeaux, the chances of a) rolling a 6, and b) having all the 6 cards drawn be FIRE monsters is so low that it's not really an issue (say you have 20 monsters, 15 of which are Fire types, which is probably about right for a theme deck. That's 1 in 6 times 15 in 40 to the power of 6 (not exactly, because the duel will probably have moved on, but w/e)). Second, the OCG is currently correct. All you've suggested is an alternate version.

The OCG is wrong because you can't discard cards from your Deck ,you sent them to the Graveyard. About the the burn effect... yeah you are right, but I think the effect activates if you Summon (No matters of what type of summoning) you can activate the effect make this card OP.
