Yu Gi Oh: The Deck Masters Emerge [Started! Still Want to Join? PM Sign Ups!]

(The deck master has the ability to just wander onto the field whenever you command it to (Another reason why it was meant to be four stars or less), but should mostly be used as a last resort. So having cards like it in your deck wouldn't effect it.)

 

Blast leered at Mummy from within his helmet, listening to the spirit's question as he decided whether or not he should dignify it with a response.

 

Ty looked to Hunter's extended hands, raising a brow as she did so, "Well, I guess I could use some help... Sign ups are closing soon though, so there really shouldn't be too many people approaching me when they close," she commented, handing him a few of the blank tournament cards as she did so.

 

"It's because I'm a serious, strategic and smart duel spirit that I chose her. Perhaps my human is a little on the light side, while I lay on the dark, but she is smart, as far as humans go. We are opposites, yes, but we complement each other." Blast responded, giving his broad shoulders a shrug as he did so. "Her optimistic mind shows me the light side of things, while my pessimistic mind shows her the darkness..."

akira hears noisies while walking while shuflling his new pyro deck and runs to the spot of ty is at.

 

"mmmmm, tournament sounds like fun!"

 

"akira i see other deck masters this is no ordnairy tournament"

 

smiles. "well, seams like u guys have deck masters as well? oh and can i have a tournament card too? i would like to enter please?"

Hunter smiled as he handed Akira a card. He tried to remember what to say. "Ummm, please fill out this card and return it to us for your entry into the Tournament, and errrr good luck. Also, these cards are wagered during the Tournament, and once you lose it, your out. You can win others, so don't be afraid to bet more than one." He said, knowing he was looking extremely unsure of what he said, but feeling a little sure of it at the same time.

 

Mummy looked at Blast and smiled widely. "Just what I wanted to hear. This kid I have here is way to serious, which is exactly why I'm with him. I'm supposed to make him one of those, shifting personality guys." He said as he nodded.

 

Hunter sighed as he didn't see many other people approaching, however noticing the next Duel Spirit which had approached. "There are a lot of Spirits here, don't you believe so Ty. It seems strange. That reminds me, are you in the tournament, or are you just helping out with everything?" He seemed in a very curious state.

Taz, looking for weak duelists to fight, wandered around the area bored. He had already beaten four opponents in mere turns aand was also quite happy about it. To him, this tournament was joke, he thought himself to be a dueling king. After walking for a few more minutes, Taz stumbles upon a girl with a Duel Disk strapped to her arm. Aha! My next victim.

...

Meanwhile, Faiyt had finished eating and was wandering the site hoping to see more awesome duels. So many people had Spirits! One had a Red Eyes Black Chick, another a Dark Blade, and many others. His people watching was interrupted by a loud shriek coming from around the bend. Out of impulse, Faiyt and Dragnov ran to help whoever it was.

 

What he saw was a girl losing to a tough looking kid and him telling her to give him her best card. "No! I never said I'd give you my card, go away!" The girl shouted at the kid, who was trying to pull her deck away. "Someone help me!"

 

An object came whistling through the air and hit the bully in the back of the head. It was a small stone. "hey! Who threw this rock at me? Whoever did is going to pay!"

 

"I threw it, and i challenge you to a duel, if I win, you have to leave that girl alone and leave this tournament!" Faiyt courageously demanded.

[Warrior_Tal]

-The city of darkness; was that it....that is what Tal mostly saw through the city. After being returned to the U.S. after his deployment across the world he hopped to begin the life of a new man. More like a duelist; one thing was for sure he never believed it when he could see the one that was called 'The Forgotten Warrior'....the very card that influenced him to join the Marines when he was only 10 years old. But he had to wait till he was 17 to join as that was the only age that he had to be in order to join.-

 

-Now....he had returned and began his life among the others; Duel Monsters. After scrounging together the remainder of his deck he left out into the city. Now there he sat leaning against one of many buildings within the city. His hands in his pockets; and his duel disk around his arm. There he over-looked what was happening within the city. Darkness that is all there was; crickets chirped by with only a few people walking through the streets.-

 

 

-What seemed only like seconds turned into minutes as a ghostly-like figure appeared next to Tal. It was none other then the monster 'The Forgotten Warrior' or what Tal had called him when he was young Warrior. The would only be seen by Tal unless someone else had the ability that Tal had of seeing these sort of spirits. Warrior had different peaces of armor on along with what seemed to be a robe and a few weapons at his side. Warrior was one of many that had a close bond to Tal just like Tal had a close bond to his Warrior/Machine-type deck.-

 

The Forgotten Warrior: "Tal, I believe you will like this. There is a rumor going around of a tournement taking place. Good thing is it is in secret."

 

-So an underground tournement. Was that what it was supposed to called or was it something else. Standing up straight Tal did not say a word; he merely just began walking Warrior vanishing into nothing which meant that he was following him. He moved in silence down the streets heading towards where Ty was. Not much farther down Tal came upon where everything was orginating from; slowly he approached Ty and spoke in an New York style of an ascent.-

 

"So I guess the rumors are true; there is a tournement going on. Are the sign-ups still available?"

Ty slowly pulled her cell phone from her pocket, checking the time quickly before pushing it away once more. She watched as he handed Akira his card, glad that she did not have to ramble off about the tournament again.

 

"Well, you chose your human? What reasons did you choose him? Surely you did not bind yourself to him on a whim," Blast stated, shifting a little where he stood to cast a glance at his counter part.

 

"More then usual, yeah, but things like this draw in duelists, so it's only natural that more spirits are around," She pointed out, shrugging her shoulders a little, "The number of spirits are still few compared to the number of duelists, though," she pointed out, recalling those duelists with spirits that she had registered. "I'm just helping this year... Last year, I participated, though," she answered, rubbing her wrists a little as she spoke, "it's kinda how I got suckered into doing all this, really."

 

(Actually, Robot, you're supposed to ask before controlling an NPC, but because I hate having to duel other people in RPs (hence my finding a way to exclude Ty from the tournament), I'll allow you to leave your post as is, but please remember to ask in the future.)

akira smiles as he fills out the card and hands it back to hunter. "here u go man, all done, and thanks for the thought for me for the tournament

"Mmhm, there is a tournament going on right now, and you're just in time to sign up before the time limit ends," Ty assured him, offering Tal a pen and the cards that he was required to fill out, "Put your information on these cards, and this one comes back to me," she said, indicating to the card that was supposed to be returned to the official.

OOC: May I bring in a NPC? I want to introduce my Deck. My Deck is made entirely of real cards.

 

Hunter felt a little sad that Ty wouldn't be in the Tournament, but got past that fact, continuing to hand out cards to a few people arriving at late times. "Wow, 3 more people. This Tournament will definately be something to look forward to. I just hope I can do good." He said feeling scared, so much that his hands seemed to be shaking.

 

Mummy looked over to Hunter, knowing he wouldn't notice him as he then looked back to Blast. "I wasn't forced, I chose this kid by accident. He plays me in every Duel, but now he changed up his Deck, so that's just to bad for me." Mummy said, sighing as he pulled out a card of himself. "And to think, I was the only thing that used to matter to that Hunter kid. Truthfully, I chose him cause he reminds me a bit of myself, before I became undead. When I was a human." Mummy finished saying this, looking to the side slightly embarassed, but at the same time, a sad expression showing on his face.

 

Hunter noticed that not many people were coming anymore. "I wonder if I can find anyone to Duel." He said, finally seeing how boring this job was. "How did you last through this Ty, you must have the patience of a Goddess." He was almost dazed out of the job, looking almost dead from boredom.

akira smiles walking towards hunter and stands in front of the stand by hunter "hay hunter, lets duel but just for fun not for Tournament cards?"

 

"akira offer up your Red Eyes to hunter if he beats you"

"Yeah, I don't really know how this is supposed to sum itself up in one night. I have a funny feeling we'll call it a day soon and carry on tomorrow. It's already late and sign ups are only drawing to a close now," she pointed out, shaking her head a little as she did so, "It really wasn't well organized."

 

"How exactly did you choose him on an accident? I had to bind with one of my human's cards to do so, it's not exactly something you can trip and fall into," Blast pointed out, turning himself to look at his own human, he recalled another reason he chose her. Her ability to put on a strong face and suffer through whatever she was faced with. He knew she was strong, and he knew she could hold her own in a duel, he just didn't like to admit such things out loud.

 

"With all these people around, I'm sure there's someone here looking for a duel," Ty pointed out, then indicated around them, "I'll sum up the sign ups, and you can go look for someone to duel you. Thanks for the help," she added, giving him a polite smile as she did so. Her smiled then twisted to a smirk, "I have to have a lot of patience to deal with blast," she told him, looking a little over her shoulder, just in time to catch Blast looking to her, and then away again when he realized he was caught.

Hunter looked at the boy who had wanted to enter the Tournament earlier as he smiled. "I suppose I should. I mean, I need to make sure there aren't any alternations I need to make to my Deck." He said as he quickly grabbed a Suitcase nearby, pulling a Deck out of it. The Suitcase only had 1 small pouch, big enough for 1 Deck, which was the one he had just pulled out. He opened a second side of the suitcase, this side holding a large Duel Disk, similar to the ones at Duel Academy, only the outer edges were black, and instead of a small half-ball in the middle, it had a Black Eye. The inside parts of the Duel Disk were mainly White. The Duel disk had the normal shape like that of Duel Academy's. It was obvious that this was a custom-made. He quickly put his Deck in, putting the Duel Disk on and starting it up.

 

Mummy smiled as he watched the Duel about to start. "I enjoyed our conversation, Blast was it? But, I must join my Human, as he is about to participate in a Duel. I hope he can actually win with this Deck. I don't doubt it very much." He said as he floated along to stay beside Hunter, awaiting the start of the Duel.

 

Hunter smirked at his opponent. "Get your cards, your Duel Disk and your Soul ready, because this Duel is coming straight from my heart. I'm going to win. Now, you can make first move, unless you'd prefer that I do?" He questioned him as he put his Duel Disk hand outward, pointing at Akira.

As the mummy left his side, Blast made his way towards the girl he was bound to, his staff clutched slightly in his hand. He now stood at her side, surveying the area around them. He felt uneasy. Something about having so many dueling spirits in one area made him feel a tad anxious, though he was not sure why.

 

Ty watched the Blast Magician from the corner of her eye, well aware that something was on his mind, their connection to one another was strong, so she could easily feel his tensions in the air. However, she knee better than to ask him what was wrong, he would never tell her, unless he felt that she needed to know, in which case he would likely just blurt it out, as he had done in the past.

 

(Well, I'm off to bed, my typing is suffering severely because I'm so tired.

"i set a monster and throw down 2 cards facedown in my spell and trap card zone and end my turn. Your turn hunter."

"Sorry buddy, you fell into my Curse of Royal. Curse of Royal states that when a card that destroys Spell or Trap cards on the field is activated, I can activate it in response and negate that cards activation, then destroy it. So, I suppose since you ended your turn, I can start mine. I draw." He said smirking almost evilly, but had a light smile on his face. "I'll hold this in my hand, and End my Turn, which means your precious Swords are gone."
