Hostile Takeover

Effect:

Pay 2000 Life Points to take control of one of your opponents monsters as your own for 2 turns. If the selected monster is destroyed before this cards effect ends you and your opponent lose 1500 Life Points. If this card is destroyed before its effect ends the selected monster is returned to its original owner.

It seems slightly underpowered.

 

You pay 2000 LP for a monster for two turns, fair enough.

(btw, specify when you give it back, standby phase or end phase?)

 

But when the cards destroyed, -1500 LP?

 

You could lose 3500 LP and the monster in one turn D=

tribute = Tribute

level stars = Level

every = each

life points = Life Points

light/ dark = LIGHT/ DARK

warrior type = Warrior-Type

choose = select

???? ATK/ DEF = ? ATK/ DEF

as a result of battle = by battle

one/ two/ three... = 1/2/3...

attack mode = Attack Position

his/ her = they/ their

"ends" = "resolves"

 

Not bad card, the image fits the name but isn't too great, the OCG is alright, and the effect, as mentioned, is a bit underpowered.

 

Maybe change 2000 to 1500, to match the other 1500. The fact that you and your opponent loose Life Points is a plus though.
