Tell me what you think, and be free to send characters.[spoiler=Prolouge A] - March 24th, 2021 -"Today's a big day for GranLab, and for the whole world. For people who do not know yet, today's the day that we extract energy from another world!" the reporter cheered, in front of the large dome-like building. Many people, other than that reporter was filling up the large, marble grounds, which provide entrance to the dome-like building everyone knew as GranLab. Everyone was tense, and muttering could be heard from everywhere, but the real tension was going on inside the building. Inside the large, round room, made of two rings, one outer and higher ring, where people passed through, and one lower and inner ring, where experiments took place, people were even more tense. None of the white-coated men were speaking, they were just staring at the thing that the white laser, coming from a machine on the ceiling was hitting. Between all of the scientists who were just staring, one with a dark blue coat, and blond scrambled hair and a scrambled beard, and a stern face, was whispering orders to another one of the scientists, who was turning different dials as the man in dark blue told him to. As the dials turned with a beeping sound getting higher with each turn, the laser got stronger, and a burnt smell covered the room. "Now." the man in dark blue muttered, and the scientist in front of the dials hasted to the last dial on the machine, which was painted light red, and turned it to the edge. Suddenly the shining white laser got more transparent, but it got even larger. Minutes passed and a small orb started growing where the laser hit, and a bright light filled the whole room. Everyone gasped, then there was silence for a few more minutes. Everyone now looked at the portal in the lower ring. The man in dark blue finally broke the silence, and said:"Gentlemen, congratulations. We have breached into the world of Duel Monsters!" --- Everyone cheered, and one of the scientists rushed at one of the buttons on the wall, and cried out: "We have succeeded!" The man's voice was heard through the whole outer grounds. Everyone cheered, and the reporter turned back to the camera, and cried: "The scientists at GranLab has succeeded at opening a portal to another dimension, by using a Duel Monsters card! As happiness swept through the outer grounds, this time there was more rush inside the building. Few of the men dragged a drill-like machine next to the portal, and put in the thin tip of the large machine. There was a seat on the machine, and the dark blue coated man sat down on it. "Now let's extract energy." he mumbled. He pressed two of the buttons, which opened up a screen, showing what it looked like in the dimension. The place was mostly made of misty, dark purple clouds, but there was definetly a ground. The whole room was filled with a screeching voice. The drill was charging. As the drill charged, the screen showed a Divine Dragon Ragnarok approaching them. It hit the drill, and the screen blurred for a bit. "If they attack, we attack back." the dark blue coated man said, loudly this time, as a little platform opened in the machine. He placed a card there. The Divine Dragon Ragnarok dissappeared with a light, and only a white orb, with blue light passing through it started floating around. They watched the screen as more monsters approached. The man just calmly placed the same cards over and over again, and they dissappeared over and over again, and more white-blue orbs appeared. Finally, three very large monsters appeared, one dark red dragon, with golden rings, one large demon-like creature with chains all over it, and one large, floating, golden humanoid creature with large golden rings floating over it. "This is what we will use to defeat them." the dark blue coated man said, sternly. He placed 3 more cards. Pieces of armor appeared, and rushed at them, clinging onto the monsters. They tried to dodge through them, but soon they were unmobilized. The scientists cheered again, as the man smirked. --- "Today, we have made breach into the world of Duel Monsters, and we have extracted their energy. From now on, people will be able to use their energies for everyday stuff, and even dueling with them." the dark blue man said, now outside, with many reporters muttering, and cameras flashed."This is a new generation Duel Monsters card." he said, as he flashed a Gagagigo. "When placed onto the duel disk, a realistic and animated picture of the card will appear. These animations are not holographic images, and are real spirits from the monster realm. They will deal real damage. That's why, while dueling, this MUST be placed onto the duel disk." he said as he showed a cover for the round part of the duel disk. "This is a Damage Bracer. When you put this, the cards will attack and move regularly, but you won't get hurt. People who do not use these are criminals, and will be punished by government regulations. The new duel disks will be on sale in a few weeks, and the old ones are deactivated, and cannot be used anymore That is all." he said, and he stepped away from the crowd.
