Here's the real story:

God and his roommate Chuggs where having an arm wrestling contest.

God: *has a one check sneak*

Chuggs: Ah, that's discusting! *God pins his hand to the table*

God: Woot! I win! Owait- quick, gimme your lighter. I got a big one! *God farts in the lighter and thus creates the big bang*

Your texts are too long. This fact doesnt make them better. I could write a 4000-word-text about a deformed spoon; it would be a long text but it wouldnt contain more pepper then one sentence about it.

Often times' date=' explaining things proves your intelligence, and helps define your message. Saying something in one sentence will often be vague, and expanding on it will leave less room for questions about what the hell you are talking about.

To prove that a really short sentence can contain more than a book, I'll nishiate your statement with the following:

2 + 2 =/= 5

lolno

That is math. Mathematical statements can be proven in as little space as possible. This is a debate about opinions.

Math =/= English

EDIT: Also, I said often times. There are obviously times when writing a lot is a waste of time.

The universe has existed for an infinite amount of time, and will continue into eternity, changing only form, shape, manifestation and structure. It is only the human mind that cannot grasp the concept of eternity, for the human is a material manifestation, born to die and exist for a period of time rather than that simply exist.

Awareness of existence however, is a trait of people and living things, not the rest of our natural universe. Energy doesn't think, judge, or will anything, only living things do that, only things that are bound to birth and death can do that.

I don't really see what's so difficult to understand about this, all you need is a simple grasp of the nature of the universe and it's simple enough to figure out. Something cannot come from nothing, so the big bang theory can't fill in that whole because it is based around the idea that somehow, our universe came into creation, and that's the flaw. "God" cannot be conscious because something needs to manifest consciousness to be conscious. The concept of "God" must thus be nothing more than a fairy-tale, and the actual nature of our universe (in its entirety) is a non-conscious manifestation, short the conscious manifestations temporarily sustained within it.

I think we all understood that, but your other posts were too tl;dr that we don't understand the point you are making with that.

Also, assuming God existed, how could he have possibly created himself? Unless he existed before anything else, which also has holes in that theory.

He could not have created himself.

He would have had to been a literal Immortal, having existed forever and continuing to do so, which would be utterly impossible.

You're right. So don't bother reading my post after all. Instead, I will simply say this. You, sir, are beyond conventional definitions of idiocy.

This in no way summarizes my previous posts, or Statik's previous posts, in this thread. Nevertheless, it is perhaps the best and only response to you.

Now, for others who are perhaps less warped by idiocy (or perhaps trollship, only time will tell), I will address his point.

This is a debate. In a debate, you must post substantiating evidence in an effort to prove your position as the correct one, or at the very least help your opponent in understanding the point of view from which you are coming. This does not include one-liners. In fact, in most debate forums, your post will be deleted unless it is of a significant length and contains relevant but non-repetitious opinions backed by valid evidence.

Thus, you are wrong. Your opinion is wrong. Your presence is not adding to this thread. I have no power over you, but I would like to ask now for you to leave unless you decide to start contributing.

Right, he could not have created himself.

Even if he was immortal, there needed to be something to create him, because (as stated above), he cannot create himself.

When people contradict the Big Bang theory (which in no means in my eyes is correct), one of the first things they say is there had to be something TO EXPLODE, creating what we theorize as the Big Bang. What I just did in this post is applied that to God.

It's simple. Either God does not have a cause (don't say existed for eternity because time is a concept only relevant to this universe.) or he a step in an infinite regression. Both possibilities are incomprehensible to the human mind.

The thing is, we're just making it all more complicated by throwing God in there to begin with, because those same possibilities can describe the universe/multiverse/continuum/whatever the hell you want to call reality.
