thats nice, but you need to have the field spell in the same post as well. so you should edit this most recent of posts so as to have all of the necessary card information in one spot. that way we dont avoid the confusion of people thinking that your allowed to have 2 cards counted as 2 cards instead of just the one and causing drama. so if you could do that it would be much appreciated. and anyone else who has already posted but hasnt finished their written portions of their posts must do so if they wish to take part in the voting phase of the contest.

 

edit: that is definitely much better razora. if you were able to control more then one rainon you would be to powerful. i give it my personal rating of 10.0 and valley of the wolves gets my personal rating of 9.0. grat job!

I wanted to make it simple unlike other card makers who use over complicated and incredibly long effects (no offence to other card makers)

no problem. its a pretty good card. and if you had a combo with that and something like bad reaction to simochi on the field and a few powerful recovery cards for your life points like draining shield and emergency provisions, that would be a key card in deciding a duel.

so now there are 21 people in this contest including myself. thats alot! i never really thought it would be this successful. actually, i was worried that my first official card contest would bomb out due to lack of people showing up. ^^' i guess that fear was unfounded. anyway, here's the updated list of contestants. after posting it in this post iam going to see if anyone else has done the written format like their supposed to.

eeh? i maybe might have made a mistake with the contestants bracket? 'O_O; anyway, if i made a mistake then i will fix it. if not, ill let you know what the problem is. and dammit magister! the voting phase does not start until this saturday! but yeah, welcome to the card contest. by the way, i see major ocg errors. i'll notify you as to what they are in my next post or put them in an updated version of this post as needed. will also update the contestants bracket in my next post.

i know. thats part of what i still have to fix. sorry about that, im ususally very puctual about that type of thing but there is a thread that i currently folow thta has been seriously busy during the last 24 hours. anyway this is what you said.

 

Description: Queen of Darkness + Lord of Minus

When played face-up draw one card from Deck and place it face-up and if a monster Lvl 4 or higher Goddess of Darkness gains 500 ATK for each Lvl 4 or higher Dark type monster on the field

 

now this is what i would do.

Effect: this card monster cannot be normal summoned. this card can only be summoned by fusion summon. When this monster is fusion summoned draw one card from the top of your deck. if its a monster, special summon it in face up attack or defense. if not then either send it to the bottom of the deck or destroy it.

this is where it gets a little tricky. i can see this effect in one of 2 ways. either it says Goddess of Darkness gains 500 attack for every level 4 or higher dark-type monster on the field, or it could say, Goddess of Darkness gains attack equal to the level of a monster summoned in this way x 500.

thats usually supposed to be in the card and the first thing in the effect. also, the monsters needed for the fusion summon are posted on the line above where the effect would be, and not in it. i also had to do some modifications to what you originally intended to make sense of the card. there just wasnt enough informaion for me to work with that i could make sense out of, but i did the best i could. f.y.i. my ocg may not be perfect just so you know. oh, and everything in bold type is what i could see being done with the card. i hope that gives you enough to work with.

first off this contest is free, so you dont have to worry about donating points in order to participate. and now that i have made that clear, time for the outlines of this card contest.

 

 

so this contest is basically for anyone who wants to join in. there'll be a submission phase of 2 weeks starting this saturday. you can still put up cards before then, its just the extra time before the actual 2 weeks start and any cards posted before this saturday will also be accepted.

 

 

so here is what you will get depending on what place you come in.

 

 

1st place: 3 reps! WOO!!!

 

2nd place: 2 reps and 10 points.

 

3rd place: 1 rep and 20 points.

 

 

the points are basically a partial consolation prize for those in the top 3 that didn't make first place.

 

 

4th-6th place gets 20 points.

 

7th-10th gets 10 points.

 

 

after the main part of the contest is over those who are in the top 3 will have a 2nd contest to see who is number one since you can't have more then 6 reps total as prizes in a single regular contest. (i will post the thread for the top 3 contest at the end of this one)

 

thats only for the top 3 though, so dont think that its another contest for anyone because it isnt. even so, it would be much appreciated if those who didnt make it to the top 3 stayed and voted for their favorite card.

 

 

now for the rules. basically you can post any card you want. however! the ocg needs to be as close to correct as possible. i won't abide by cards being submitted that have horrible ocg and stuff.

 

also, the cards have to be balanced, and cannot have monster types you invented yourself like hunter, rapper, darkling, or anything like that. the cards submitted in this contest must be actual types already involved in the yu-gi-oh! tcg like fiend, warrior, fairy, stuff like that.

 

that doesnt mean that your card has to be a monster though. it could be a spell or trap card too. but you can only post one card per person, so make sure that its your best one! ^^

 

and now one final thing. as i said before, the submission phase will be 2 weeks. the voting will take place the 2 weeks after that.

 

so basically aug. 8-21 is the submission phase and aug. 22-sept. 4 is the voting phase. after that, i will tally up the votes and we will see who wins and moves onto the top 3.

 

also, if you find someone elses card that you like better then the one that you voted for initially, you can change your vote to that. but you have to put in your post that you're changing your vote, and you can only change your vote twice. having said that, i shall be keeping track of who has how many votes (as well as who has changed their votes) in each one of my posts so as to keep everyone up to date.

 

 

now that i have given the main outlines as to the rules and rewards for the contest i have just 1 or 2 other things to say. when submitting cards, i would like to ask that your ocg is as current as possible. it isnt necessary, per-se. it just helps keep me and whoever else is judging from being confused.

 

also, you cannot vote for your own card. you have to find someone elses card that you like and vote for that one. that having been said, i, too, shall be participating as a contestant. dont worry though, i wont try to rig the contest. im just not that type of guy. and now all you guys need to do is post your cards. so good luck to everyone, and happy posting! ^^
