Huntar!
Heart of gold, waits and wondersThoughts of old, hates; it pondersPain inside; it hurts so goodThe way we lied the way we should. The wind blows, I hear it clearThe weight of woes replaced with cheerNeither of us were quite trueFeelings of lust and thoughts of you. Thats all we were and don't denyLets not feel bad and lets not cryThe past is the past and let it beNow lets move on and let me be me. The sky turns red, the end of daySting of love was all to payRaise an eager eye right to the starsAs you were Saturn and I was Mars. So I wait for time to slow back downAnd wait for smiles to come from frownsFun was fun; and that was thatIts only as good as where it sat. I will move on, just fine I amFor you I just dont give a damnWish you the best with your new girlI'm sure her face could make me hurl. Fun fun. Zeroshot
I was confused about about the 3rd line in the last stanzaI'm assuming it's a lust-love-lost poem, so if the girl goes off with another girl...Good plot twist at least. Ima big nerd when it comes to mythology, which is why I suggest you change 'Saturn' to 'Venus'Mars was the Roman God of war.Saturn was the Roman God of Harvest and whatnot, keyword 'God'.Venus (Greek Aphrodite) was the godess of Lust, Love and fertility (sex)So it would fit better with your poem. I liked it.
