This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

Once per turn, Special Summon 1 "Crystal Token" (Rock-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defence Position. "Crystal Tokens" cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon. You can Tribute a "Crystal Token" to negate 1 attack from a monster your opponent controls. If a "Crystal Token" is Tributed by this effect, inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect: Add 1 "Nat" Counter to a monster on your field(Max. of 5). You may remove 1 counter to inflict 100 points of damage to the opponent. After 5 counters have been placed on monsters, return this card to your hand.

B, seems underpowered, it only says you can assign 1 Nat counter, unless there are support cards. And 100 damage isn't worth the trouble.
