How long you been designing?: Tagging, I presume you mean, and around a year. However, I'm new to PS, and am considering reverting back to GIMP. I am improving at a slow yet steady rate, and Hunter is helping me along in bits.

Why do you want to be on the class crew?: To try and generally improve my graphics skills and tag with some of the more 'experienced' members of the forums. I find myself trailing behind and making a lot of errors, and I want to fix that. Additionally, I think it'll be nice to give my own views on other's sigs, so it would be a good experience for me. ^w^

Rank: Solid Beginner

Comments: Whilst the general background is rather poor, it's made up with the slight effects placed on it, although still distracting the eyes from the focal slightly. The lighting on the render is slightly off, and whilst the 'starry glow' adds a nice effect, it doesn't really make up for the bad points of this sig. The flow isn't great, neither is the depth, and both could be worked on.

Rank: Solid Beginner

Comments: The focal is easily well done, albeit rather large, and whilst the lighting is decent, the areas on the shoulder are slightly aesthetically distracting. The text placement is poor and corners should be avoided, whilst the background flows nicely with the addition of the white abstract.

Akoolgie.png

Rank: Solid Beginner, barely.

Comments: Slight over-use of C4D ruins the flow of the sig, and whilst the render is placed well, the lighting doesn't seem to 'fit' with the rest of the tag. Text placement is good, but the colours of 'koolgie' slightly blend in with the too-dark background.

Rank: Solid Beginner

Comments: Nice general 'appearance' of the sig, the general rough feel is clear over the whole tag, albeit the render blending in slightly. The colouring is generally good as well, flowing throughout the entire sig but no so much that the render blends.

PaPSig.png

Rank: Low Beginner

Comments: Firstly, the text steals the focal. It's too bold and grabs the sig. The general colour is good and how it flows over, but the random addition of vector brushes isn't needed. The render isn't 'brought out' enough and therefore isn't really focal'd as much.

You should ask what class is before applying :|

Snitch' date=' I'm guessing you have to know what Classing means, because this is what this Crew will be doing, I'm guessing.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Ranking.

e.g I posted a tag & the title says [CLASS] in it. the class crew will go in & rank it from Novice to Professional with details about that tag & what it's missing.

How long you been designing? Since November 2008

Why do you want to be on the class crew? Because you asked me to (I think that was what you meant anyways.)

Post 5 of your tags & class them: Oh bother, here comes the hardest part.

1/5? They're all Low Novice? WUT. ._.

There's no way I'm a Low Novice. I was told Beginner was worse than Novice. ._.

So if I'd put them all as Low Novice instead of Low Beginner/Solid Beginner, I would have got in?

Damn Hunter and his ranking ways. >>;
