New Sub-Type! Alchemists by Yankeefan

Hello all, I thought I'd get back into card making. Long story short, I got a pic, and decided to try to make a set. The set turned into a group of new monsters with a new Sub-Type...Alchemists. I know what your all thinking, no, I'm not going to make the stone, at least, I'm not gonna make it overpowering.

 

Alchemist monster different than most monsters in one simple way. They can move to an adjacent unocupied monster card zone once per turn, thus, in their effects, I do not say they can change zones, it's just something they can do. It's simple, but it can do alot of stuff for you.

[spoiler=Effect]This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard except by the effect of an Alchemist monster. Once per turn, if you control a face-up Spell Card in the same column as this card, you can discard 1 Spell Card to destroy card on the field. If you do, this card cannot attack this turn.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Battle Reptile of the North]

[spoiler=Effect]This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of an Alchemist monster. Decrease the ATK of this card by 200 for every non Alchemist monster on the field. Once per turn, if you control a face-up Trap Card in the same column as this card, this card can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Alchemic Material Plant]

[spoiler=Effect]As long as you control this face-up card, increase the ATK of all Alchemist monsters by 300. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can return 1 Alchemist monster you control to your Deck to Special Summon 1 Alchemist monster from your Graveyard.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Necromancer of the Damned]

[spoiler=Effect]Once per turn, if there is an Alchemist monster adjacent to this card, you can return 1 Alchemist monster you control to the Deck to Special Summon 1 Alchemist monster in your Graveyard. If this card is removed from the field, destroy all cards Special Summoned by this cards effect.

[spoiler=Effect]This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of an Alchemist monster. Once per turn, if there is an Alchemist monster adjacent to this card, you can send 1 Alchemist monster you control to the Graveyard to search your Deck for an Alchemist monster, and put it in your hand.

Nice cards, like Ragnarok said, Plant Alchemics ATK boost effect won't last long but it is just good enough for your opponent to want to kill it first so you get effect. You got some nice ways to special summon your monsters but right now I think the only real monster to use it on is Battle Reptile of the North (in terms of ATK, that is even in todays game still important right), all the others are just summoned for bringing him out (except maybe for Maryann, The Spell Alchemist, you bring her out to kill something). So I would like to see some more support and a Real Ace Monster!

 

Anyway 8/10 original effects and good pictures!

I know I'm done with Card Making and whatnot, but I figured I should post here since you've helped me a lot recently with stuff.

 

First of all, I'm extremely impressed with all of these cards. They're all incredible, unique, and have very few OCG Errors. (Not sure if I'm allowed to mention that because I don't know if there's updated Rules, but whatever.) Great job, definitely my favorite cards by you. A few of the pictures didn't work so I couldn't see all of the stats, but these are great man. Kudos.

I really like the cards I thought they were going to be able to move to an unoccupied zone with their effect but it looks like I was wrong. I like that they can't be special summoned except by their own effect like that your opponent won't be using monster reborn on your monsters or red eyes zombie dragon's effect. I don't mind the pics at all. Good job. 9/10

I like the pics.... and the effects are cool..

I like the second card.. the Reptile it's freaky but it looks cool

lol, ya, but I sort of thought that Alchemists really can only hope to come back by somebody using Alchemy, just my thought...;)
