burnpsy
Evoltector Chevalier, Arms Hole, Armed Changer, Necklace of Command, Royal Decree? Also, Mystical Space Typhoon > Heavy Storm here, as your Equip Cards would all disappear under the strong gales of the storm. Drop Axe of Despair for United We Stand. Also, PTD's search effect makes Broken Bamboo Sword and Golden Bamboo Sword a somewhat viable draw engine. Note how PTD can make use of Double Tool C&D to stop monster effects without even needing to attack.
Skyson
Evoltector Chevalier' date=' Arms Hole, Armed Changer, Necklace of Command, Royal Decree?[/quote'] This is my secondary deck IRL, so the first two are out. I would have 6 or 7 Arms Hole in this Deck if the TCG had it, without a doubt. I'm not a big fan of Armed Changer because I don't want to discard any other Equip Spells, and I don't really need another card that brings stuff back up from the Graveyard. 2 Against the Wind and 1 Dark Eruption to return Gale to my hand if I can make another Power Tool Dragon, or Ben Kei if I'm ready to rock. Necklace of Command? I have Upstart Goblin and Reckless Greed as draw engines, and a bunch of other Equip Spells that are way better. I gave consideration to Royal Decree as of late since I no longer have the Dark Bribes. Considering a 6 trap line-up, I might just try them. Also, Mystical Space Typhoon > Heavy Storm here, as your Equip Cards would all disappear under the strong gales of the storm. That does not happen. Somehow I believe the idea of this deck got mixed up. Power Tool really isn't there to do much attacking. He's there to use his effect to start loading my hand with Equip Spells. I'll usually give him 1, maybe 2 Equip Spells so that his effect can protect him from things, but the idea of this deck is to use the Blackwing engine to get Power Tool Dragon out, use his effect as many times as possible to load my hand with Equip Spells, [then use Heavy Storm/Giant Trunade to clear the S/T line,] and then drop a loaded Ben Kei and OTK. I did push for a 7300 direct attack with Power Tool Dragon once, but that was an extraneous case. So, MST didn't make the cut because Equip Spells very rarely will be on the field with this deck. Power Tool Dragon loads the hand, then Ben Kei runs in for game. Drop Axe of Despair for United We Stand. Also, PTD's search effect makes Broken Bamboo Sword and Golden Bamboo Sword a somewhat viable draw engine. I would drop Mask of Brutality eons before I would drop Axe of Despair. I considered United We Stand. The thing about this deck is that it only runs 13 monsters, and most of those monsters don't stay on the field, save Power Tool Dragon. My monster line-up is most often Ben Kei and Power Tool Dragon when I drop for the OTK. I guess even then, 1600 is more than 1000. I don't think I have a United We Stand right now, which is probably why it's not in here. I'll drop the Mask for United when I get one, lol. Note how PTD can make use of Double Tool C&D to stop monster effects without even needing to attack. Double Tool C&D only negates the effects of monsters that the equipped monster battles, during the Battle Phase. So, he kind of does need to attack to do that. Like I said, Ben Kei is the main attacker of this Deck, Power Tool Dragon is just a really big supporting force. Thus, Double Tool doesn't make the cut. Thanks for the suggestions. Royal Decree might find its way into this, and I am once again reminded to get a United We Stand. <_<
burnpsy
My bad on C&D, it was reworded for the English print. I only actually recommended it based on the translated Japanese wording. Also, this won't always be an OTK, no matter how often you dump tons of equip spells on Ben Kei. I understood perfectly, I was just saying that something like Threatening Roar could stop your attack for a turn, so MST can get rid of a troublesome face-down on the next turn without killing your equips, if that were to happen. Oh, and np.
